Teriffic! EVE Online is a great game, but getting into it can be somewhat challenging.
As such, I offer my assistance.
Click here for a 21-Day Free Trial, as opposed to the standard 14-Day Free Trial. More time means more time to get acquainted with your life as a capsuleer and as such this is important.
Additionally, while jumping into something headfirst is always a perfectly logical approach, some might prefer reading up on the subject first. ISK the Guide is a great place to start as it contains almost anything you need to know about EVE. If you can't find what you need, or didn't understand it, there are numerous other guides out there as well. EVElopedia contains quite a bit of knowledge, though some of it might be slightly outdated. And finally, once you've gotten the gist of EVE, you'll want to optimize your performance. For that, I recommend three amazing tools that even I use on a regular basis. Not strictly necessary, but the following will make your life in EVE much easier:
EVEMon is a nifty tool that allows you to plan your skill training and check on it out-of-game. It allows you to quickly and easily optimize your skill training.
PYFA is a neat tool that allows you to create fittings and see how they perform statistically without having to create them in-game, and with numerous variables that would be hard to replicate otherwise.
ISK Per Hour is a cool tool that allows you to optimize your industrial output quickly and effectively. Who says you need to use spreadsheets to make money?

ThePrinceOfNigeria wrote:Don't forget to include a Free trial of Microsoft Office to go along with that code. What you really need from that is Excel cause spreadsheets in space and all that happy ****. Since starting EVE in 2010, I've never, ever had to use a spreadsheet. I made a spreadsheet once, but it didn't take long for me to notice that it was a wasted effort because 1. spreadsheets aren't necessary, and 2. other people have already made the spreadsheets for you in the form of simple-to-use programs that are actually quite enjoyable to use and which are completely optional.
This misconception that EVE is spreadsheets in space is really starting to irritate me.

While I admire your sense of humor, perhaps you could try not to make jokes that don't portray EVE Online as something it's not in a serious thread about EVE Online? That would be very helpful, please and thank you.

I understand that's usually sold, and some profits sent to the recruitee... It goes to fund my EVE addiction. Though I am quite generous so if someone needs something in EVE that's not too expensive I could probably help with it.

Kristoff Atruin wrote:Pvping for profit is a thing, it's called suicide ganking. The most well known version is where people scan the cargo of freighters and find some dude who is carrying a load that is far too valuable. Then they catch him coming through a gate with a gang of tornado battlecruisers and kill him. They all die to CONCORD, but as long as half of the cargo was worth more than the ships used to gank him they profit.
The more accessible version is finding mission runners in highsec who put officer modules and stuff on their pve ships. These guys you can gank with a small gang of cheap destroyers and make a huge profit, though it's more luck based since you never know if the shiny modules will be destroyed or drop as loot. You know you're taking what I said completely out of context, right?
