Hey there. I run a Youtube channel that features a number of Dust projects. At the behest of some people, I've decided to do interviews with any CPM1 candidates that are interested.
If anyone is interested in a quick 5-10 minute interview, drop me a mail ingame and we can exchange Skype information.
For those interested in watching interviews and putting forward questions, I'll be keeping this thread up to date.

One thing you should ask them is, if they are CoD fanboys.It's really not good if the CPM want dust to become a free clone of it. |

If a CoD fanboy runs seriously for CPM then they have already gone so far down the rabbit-hole that they will never look at CoD the same way again.
Seriously with the cultural difference between EVE vets and FPS vets, we will be lucky if we can get even one or two pure FPS vets onto the CPM to represent that perspective. EVE players are just so much more used to this type of interaction with their game developer.

While I'm not posting any official announcement threads and such like until the finalized details of the election date and process are posted by CCP Saberwing, I think its fairly common knowledge that I've stated my intent to run for CPM1 in the past.
This intent has not changed.
So if you want to add me to your list of candidate interviews that would be cool.

I actually confessed in my interview that I used to play CoD. But it's a very different type of game, and what works for CoD does not work for DUST. There's almost different genres they're so different. =P

CCP uses Skype to communicate with the CSM and the CPM. If you're hoping to be on the CPM, you'll need Skype anyways. ;) From a podcaster standpoint, I think some of Google's quirks might irritate those trying to record.

Always been a New Eden fanboy.  It is one of the best scifi settings ever. I would love to see DUST live up to the potential New Eden offers.

I lack a camera, would that inhibit the little interview?
Although I have an email with my in-game name I never got around to making a skype one. If interviewed could I keep my anonymity?
(also, waiting on official forum for cpm candidacy before making a post about it)

Appia, it's an audio interview. Long as you have a microphone, you'll be fine. You can create a Skype without giving your RL name out. Bear in mind, however, your RL info will likely become public during the CPM election process.
