That sounds awesome. To be honest though - I haven't seen this in the pipeline for 1.8. The emphasis is on Racial Parity atm.

1.7 was mostly a good patch.
1.8 is shaping up to be an excellent patch.
CCP Rouge came in about 1.6ish, IIRC. I wonder if it's him making these things actually happen.

CCP has not done one thing when they said they would.
for example rollover SP, Customizable weapons, Vita Dust thingy, even the vehicle update was delayed. so yea i doubt it.

It's fairly evident (given the prolific blue tagging as of late) that we're working towards parity. The primary goal currently appears to be with dropsuits, but I'll continue to comment when I know more.

If they are introducing new racial dropsuits in the next patch, then there are most likely going to be infantry respecs to go along with them, just like the vehicle respecs in 1.7. Maybe.
