do nova knives count as melee? If not, they should, so then I would actually have a use to use myofibril stimulants.

No they don't, they are a sidearm. Use Sidearm Damage Modifiers to add damage.
Just pressing fire will do x2 damage as the damage displayed is for one knife each and you hold two.
A charged shot however will be x2, x2 damage.
So with advanced NovaGÇÖs you can get a vanilla (before skills or damage mods) raw damage of 150 each. 300 DPS for pressing fire once or 600 DPS for a charged swipe.

I am not opposed to adding myo to the damage, but then we would likely need to knock the sidearm damage mod off the list. and Raise the melee bonus question of the Min scout, would that stack? If so then what does that look like balance wise? If this was done however it would make it easier to justify adding a new bonus to the Min scoutGǪ hacking, explosive damage all sorts of options there.
