The Gallenteans must be feeling very lonely in this galaxy... Almost every race they contact rejects their way of life. The Caldari being the most notably, but also the Intaki separatists, and now their fledgling little Republic friends have turned away. It seems only the Jin-Mei have truly stayed in whole... Though they still maintain their caste system much to the Federation's disappointment.
Actually, you really don't hear much about the Jin-Mei at all. |

Actually, you really don't hear much about the Jin-Mei at all. Same can be said for the Amarr, the difference is that the Gallente don't go around enslaving people to push their ways on others. Also, Gallente political system =/= Gallente way of life, there is more to them then their political system.
We have the Khanid, Ni Kunni, Ealur, and the Ammatar living peacefully within the Empire. That is four races who have accepted our way of life. Granted there was major conflict with the Minmatar and lesser conflict with the Khanid. However the Ni Kunni and Ealur have never revolted or resisted the Amarr rule.
Also the Gallente are notorious for "pushing their ways" on others. They are hostile and intolerant to closed societies, ignorant or unaccepting of the deep cultural difference that have developed the modern political systems. The Caldari are the prime example. A people who developed a tradition, culture, and religion based on hard work, perseverance, and testing oneself. Yet when they decided that the Federation did not allow them to hold to these ideals and their own state had to be formed, the Gallenteans tore them from their home world at gunpoint.
Now the Minmatar are developing into a more closed society based on tribal law and progression, not free elections. The future will be interesting. |

Keep in mind that, just because we believe in progress and understanding, we do not usually resort to force in order to solve our disputes. Hundreds of years of stable democracy can attest to that.
The Caldari-Gallente War was started with violent acts from the Caldari, which certain elements within our government responded to. Yes, I believe the response was the incorrect one, but we did not immediately resort to violence, and many within the Federation wished to sue for peace immediately. The current war is another example of elements within the State using violence to achieve an end. I don't subscribe to the belief that Tibus Heth is representative of your people (he was ran out of office for crying out loud) just as I hope you don't believe that people like Alexander Noir represent mine.
I am not Caldari, I was simply citing their strife as an example... I am True Amarr of the blood of Old Athra, and a Holder of the Lower Houses.
Also your "hundreds of years of stable democracy" pales in comparison to the over 15,000 years of imperial succession.
