Yeah. There actually isn't. It's only a minority of players who want this on PS4. Could have something to due with the fact that there are a lot more PS3 players than PS4 players.
Also everything you mentioned the game can also do on PS3. And it must be this way. Because they can't just release a PS4 version with more content. PS3 and PS4 version have to be compatible until they retire the PS3 version 10 years or so after the release of the PS4 version. Literally the only thing the PS4-version may could do better than the PS3 atm are graphics. And that's it.
Please: Think this stuff through first. You're just jumping to conclusions: "It's not on the PS3 yet? It's only possible on PS4!"

If it is that much of nonsense then surely you are able to point out why it is nonsense.

I would rather keep trolling TEST gatecamps in vale, but I could try. I started this after all.
Well then. Go ahead.

I personally now already more than 5 people who are waiting for Dust to make a Jump on the PS4 with its own client and not via a stream service.
Your circle of friends is no indicator of how many people want the game on PS4. Also it's not something I can verify. I know at least 10 people who don't care. Now what?
Quote:Could have something to due with the fact that there are a lot more PS3 players than PS4 players. This is a very interesting point you have there, and I think that CCP giving this fact even more credit. But is this the right and good idea? The Playstation3 have sold around 83 Million consoles since 2006. And this is an impressive install-base. But I donGÇÖt believe in die number blindly. There are some aspects you should keep in mind like: 1. Some PS3s might be broken by now. 2. Some people bought a PS4 and not bother using the PS3 anymore. 3. Some people lost interest in gaming since they bought a PS3 at all. 4. A lot of people are not interested in ego shooters or ego shooters on console. 5. Dust never really was marketed on the PS3. (We all know the reasons why) 6. DonGÇÖt count the GÇ£oldGÇ¥ PS3 accounts, I own 6 and nearly every owner of a PS3 owns a PSN account in the UK. ItGÇÖs like counting accounts in EVE. Accounts =/= real player. On the other hand we have the PS4, the fastest selling console ever. The PS4 was released on November 2013 and sold already more than 4 million pieces. Please keep in mind that the biggest marked GÇôAsia- is still to start and that Sony would have sold more pieces. The bottleneck is hardware production. I have a friend who is looking to buy one, but canGÇÖt find it on the marked and now have to wait for amazon getting new stocks. In some eyes itGÇÖs not making a lot of sense to compare 83 million with 4, but Dust should have been from day one available on the PS4. Who are the very early adopters on this new piece of hardware? Most core gamers and some parents putting this thing under the Christmas tree. Which categories of games are sold the most? Ego shooters. Sad but a true fact is that more copies of shooters are sold on console then on PS, a trend started a couple of years ago. On the two first weeks there were like 4 or 5 shooters in the store, two are with costs and the rest free to play. Dust can still be one of them.
4 Million against 84 Million. That's kind of a difference there. Ok, point taken: Some PS3s might be broken and so on. But let it be 60 Million PS3s against 4 Million PS4s. Or 40 Million. Or even just 20 Million. The PS3 is still far ahead for obvious reasons.
You also ignore people who bought the PS4 and currently don't bother with it because there are rarely any games out for it yet.
The fastest and bestselling console in terms of home consoles so far is still the PS2 btw. And of the 155 Million units sold only 22 million were sold in Japan. So much for the asian market. China just currently lifted the console ban. So nobody can tell how many consoles will be sold there.
And you act like everybody just sells his PS3 just because the PS4 is out. There are some people who still keep their PS3 and still play with it, even though the PS4 exists. Also: With PSNow the topic of porting Dust over to the PS4 is less important than ever before.
You also ignore that porting Dust to the PS4 would mean the following things for CCP: They would either need more manpower, meaning they would have to spend more money, or patches would take longer. Because they would have to deploy the same patch on 2 different console with a different architecture and still make sure everything is compatible.

It would be as easy as having game mode filters. You could have 64vs.64 matches on the PS4 and the smaller one on the PS3. This is one example. Aikuchi Tomaru wrote: PS3 and PS4 version have to be compatible until they retire the PS3 version 10 years or so after the release of the PS4 version. Literally the only thing the PS4-version may could do better than the PS3 atm are graphics. And that's it. No, not the versions, the servers! GÇ£Literally only the graphicsGÇ¥ is a very big thing. Graphics are very important in a modern day shooters, it is one of the biggest key points. The other is FPS, and loading time, or not having any loading time. It takes me around 30 seconds from starting BF4 till run and gun in a multiplayer battle. Technically it would be even possible to have PS3 and PS4 players in one match, the PS3 users just couldnGÇÖt join a 64vs64 battle for example. I used Amazon (com, de, co.uk) selling scores and different PS3 and ego shooters wikis.
No they can't. They can't just say "Yeah. This game mode is PS4 only and everybody who still plays the game on a PS3 can **** off." It is one game. And PS3 players would need to be able to play against PS4 users. What you want to do is introduce another gap between the community. A real **** move. And what's important for you isn't necessarely important for everybody else.
