I'm not a tanker, so I can't speak from direct experience, but I have played with four tankers that stand above the rest. Char, Earl James, Medaman, and Hellcomeswithme.

I'd say Attorney General, or Hellsung Deathsong, but it's really hard to judge because I haven't seen most of them in battle and I don't know what the standards for them are.

Speaker4thedead and, thats it.

Have not seen a single other "big name" tanker besides Luchasomething from STB in ambush with 12 STB guys.

I've seen Char in one match, as an infantry player.

PC Onry for the rest of the tankers it looks like.

Technically, duna2002 is the best.

Say what you want, but he has the K/D, kills, and wins to show for it and he's never done anything but tank.

There's a list of good tankers and people who just tank. duna2002 at least stays on the front until he gets blown up. He doesn't run his modules then retreat for 2 minutes then comes back picking 1-2 easy kills. His crew destroys pubs worse than Nyain San ever could. In fact, I've seen his 4 guys destroy NS's A-Team many times. They never stood a chance.

And the fact that he doesn't PC as a corp doesn't matter.

You're right. He's a sleezeball, but he has the numbers to show for it. Faulting him for using teamwork in a team-based game is void argument. Milkman1 & CUBS are the same way, but they still got to the top and stayed there, 13ear, too.

Writing to confirm Duna is trash unless he has 5 other tanks backing him up, and even then they manage to lose one or two.

You're going to need to specify what's required of the "best tanker"? For most of us we judge based on Tank v Tank, Infantry kills aren't that important. Don't get me wrong, going 60/0 in a Skirm is impressive, but if you're doing it in an ambush you get no respect. It'd be difficult, if you want to find the best tanker, we need to do a tournament.

Played with him the other day actually, and he wasn't that bad! Not the best tanker, but damn he was probably the most helpful dropship pilot in the word. Not to mention pretty funny. He was joking about how the minmatar large turret should be two large gatling guns strapped to the tank with duct tape, and the reticle would just be a giant rectangle box.
