Say what you want, but he has the K/D, kills, and wins to show for it and he's never done anything but tank.
There's a list of good tankers and people who just tank. duna2002 at least stays on the front until he gets blown up. He doesn't run his modules then retreat for 2 minutes then comes back picking 1-2 easy kills. His crew destroys pubs worse than Nyain San ever could. In fact, I've seen his 4 guys destroy NS's A-Team many times. They never stood a chance.
And the fact that he doesn't PC as a corp doesn't matter.
really duna corp has good players i hadnt noticed what i have noticed is they generally tend to stay in ambush where all the scrubby tankers are.and they tend to pub stomp.
duna is far from the best tanker in dust he is good but he is not the best. i have never played with him but only against him and like i said he is good even a great tanker but i would not call him the best.
also op i dont really think you can make sucha generalized question as who is the best tanker..better to limit it to periods
who was the best tanker of chromosome
who was the best tanker when tanks were up after chromosome
who is the best 1.7 tanker...(personally i think its to soon to tell for the best 1.7 tanker)

You're going to need to specify what's required of the "best tanker"? For most of us we judge based on Tank v Tank, Infantry kills aren't that important. Don't get me wrong, going 60/0 in a Skirm is impressive, but if you're doing it in an ambush you get no respect. It'd be difficult, if you want to find the best tanker, we need to do a tournament. I'd think you get at least a little respect of going 60-0 in an Ambush. There are only 50 clones in normal Ambush anyway >_> Unless you're boosting like everyone seems to think people do 
no you get 0 respect for any tanking in ambush period and obviously the 60/0 was ambush oms..
blaster tanking in ambush is despicable and requires 0 skill. no tanker gets respect for running anti infantry hav in ambush.

to be fair i never fought zitro when he tanked and i didnt fight noc i dont think..i remember them both obviously but i tended to be matched vs others
