I started playing last night, and did fairly well in the beginning, when it was in the "low experience" battles, but I am getting trashed in the regular matches now. At best, I might end up with an even kill to death ratio, but I have some games where I die 8-10 times, and MIGHT get a kill or two. Usually from spawn camping, which really sucks...
Anyway, I have only been using the Frontline and Sniper "free" fits, as I needed the ISK for my skills, but have now decided to try to run a logi fit. I read a lot of places that using BPO's, and especially buying the Mercenary pack would make things cheap and easy, but are these even available anymore? When I google information, almost all of it is from May and June of last year, or it is more recent, and discussing very expensive fits. (relatively for me, at least)
So yeah, my question is basically, is there any way for me to pick up BPO's? Or any packs that have lots of uses/unlimited? I know I am not going to get amazing stuff, that much I am clear on, but at 6k per fit (half of which is from the Gal logi suit), it eats up a ton of profit. |

Pretty sure at this point the only BPOs that can still be obtained are the Templar items included in the Eve Online: Second Decade Collector's Edition, and possibly the EU only shotgun bpo that was included with marked ps3 headsets (I say possibly because the US only LAV BPO voucher expired 1/1/14).
Edit: Forgot to specify, BPOs where removed from the market back in Nov because they were not having the intended effect. |

Yeah, if you can find someone selling a templar pack there is a Amarr logi A-1 BPO in it. Those are the final ones they are selling I believe.
Maybe people will be able to trade/sell BPO's later, nobody knows.

Hmmm... Ok then, thank you. Are there places selling this templar pack, or was it like a pre-order thing or something? |

It was announced during the fanfest, it's pretty steep dollar prices if you're just after some bpos and not really worth it.

Check with Gamestop.com. Not sure if they still have the packs but I know some people bought them fairly recently.
I spent half my ISK on gambling, alcohol and wild women. The other half I wasted.

A standard (STD) logi suit is 3000isk. It isn't that big of an isk sink. It is often the weapon and with Logi's the modules that use up the isk. Also when you start out the skill books are relatively expensive but they are one time expenses.
BTW if you are getting a positive KDR in militia (MLT) suits then you are doing pretty well... Assuming you are using the frontline a lot. Value wise the medic one can be better if you want to use the nanite injector to heal someone. Just make sure you get rid of the person who downed them first or it will be two dead bodies.
The secondary benefit of a nanite injector is not to be underestimated. Essenatially you get an icon showing someone who has been downed within 38m, that's about 4x the distance of your basic passive scan. It is a good heads up "Danger, Will Robinson" that enemies are nearby.
Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.
