This thing is just ridiculous. I'm plowing down heavies running HMG's with 40% hp left at close range, and that's just with tier1 CBR. God weapon balance is terrible in this game. |

CCP found out OP weapons sell, they get more money through AUR purchases and we get an unbalanced cashcow F2P shooter.

I've been on the receiving end of the CBR In my 1100 ehp heavy suit ( only using mlt until the other races arrive).
Suffice be it to say, I died in about a second flat, engaging a proto CBR wielding enemy while in my optimal range with my proficiency 3 advanced HMG, and having shot first.
Sure, there was a gear disparity... I guess that is working as intended, right?

Faced a Boundless Combat Rifle in PC the other day. And I thought the basic killed instantly...
It's like the tac rifle fiasco but worse.

Was he the only one shooting at you?
How much hp did he have left?
The HMG seems more than fine in its optimal. I see heavies not even squatting, just opening up and dropping people.
- Now if you are on the edge of its range its pretty laughable no matter how they use it.
Combat Rifle is very good but as others in here have said, if you deal with it you have to also look at the other rifles and then you would have to look at the HMG and SMG also.

I tried Rail but CBR seems better from what I've noticed. Just earlier some guy jumped me with a rail, turned around and took him out, almost died but still. I only have like 9% damage enhancement on my logi btw. |

Hitting at 80-90% accuracy with the CR when you have no aim assist is impossible...
With Aim Assist, the CR and full auto CR will hit accuracy ratings un heard of in FPS's... 68 bullet Six Kin CR with 1200 RPM and 80% accuracy even when your moving and jumping?
I don;t blame the gun... there are strong as hell gun's in every FPS ever made... i blame a program setting that makes the gun this way/ |
