I've been waiting for forever for the Gallente heavy, so if only dropsuits are refunded, I'll do that. If we have an infantry refund, I'm retiring my doughboy and going back to what pulled me into DUST in the first place:

CCP should totally troll us when they release the screenshots of the Minmatar heavy. They should have a trash can armor with a bucket for a helmet all duct-taped together.
On my heavy alt I'll go Gallente most likely. I really can't wait to finally see the full racial lineup in action.

Considering its been a trend because A) I waited for the Caldari logi and when it came out was considered OP B) I waited for the rail rifle to come out and people are yelling its OP

Uh I don't really know. I love the aesthetics of the Caldari suits, always have and always will, sleek, stark, and utterly devoid of frivolous and non useful components.
Its a pretty cool almost 80's Scifi look that I love.
However I have to say that the Gallente Heavy looks bad ass! Almost like an Enclave Soldier from Fallout 2 or 3 which is epic since I love those games.
IMO the only two lack lustre suits are the Min and Amarr. The Amarr being a suit we have known for almost a year now.....its almost worn itself thin in the absence of the other heavy suits.... it wont be popular in future unless its skills coupled with moderate shield and armour values really do contribute to increased survivability.
Min IMO.....just looks plain awful. Nice almost Rustpunk exoskeleton suit again ruined by the Minmatar headwear (except of course the Assault suit head piece which looks nice) and general disorganised and rough appearance.....last thing I want to do if I am going to fight as a heavily armoured super soldier is look like someone turned out the inside of a trashcan when all the other heavies are off in the corner of smoking room talking about their nice shiney new suits.
To a Texan like you, a hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Gunlogi.

Having 600-1k shields is gonna make the Minmatar and Caldari heavies a tough nut to crack, followed by shields 20% resistance to explosives, and a maxed heavies 25% resistance to explosives; you'd be RE proof.
But finally a shielded heavy. There won't be much of a need for logi-bros save for ammo.
And, I can finally have fittings that are 100% Minmatar LP.

Pros:
- is minmatar
- looks like a walking steam locomotive running on boiled tears and vaporized dreams
- also looks like one of these ***********rs from Metal Gear Rising
- fashionably matches the HMG
- won't look half bad with the forge gun as well
- goes fast
- cardiac regulator and kincats makes it go faster
- oh my god i closed my eyes for a second and the heavy that was across the street is smacking me in the face with his still firing hmg help me waaaarghrbrgl
- shields
Cons:- least hp
- duct tape is itchy

It's no secret I'll be rolling out in the Gallente.
Minmatar is also being considered as a second option.
But, I want to keep it all Gallente for the LP Store.
