Allow Dust players who have time in the game, know actual FPS strategies, and desire to play test stuff access to a Sisi like server to test out upcoming ideas and give feedback. I would be happy to participate and help out. With these new suits and the last couple of patches, I have begun to doubt if there is any one on the Dev team with previous FPS history. I want this game to grow and get better, but I think we need a broader source of ideas and ability to demonstrate where the problems are. |

Sony not allowing for on going beta testing? Sony isn't hosting the server, so why does it matter? |

There are a few dev/cpm posts stating as much when this has been brought up in the past. Sony QA regulations and processes regarding availability of products/services over PSN would make it essentially too difficult and time-consuming to implement. Don't know if they might be more lax as PS4 stuff become progressively more prioritized, though. |

They have no control over Dust 514 to begin with, and what's the difference between Tranquillity and Singularity?
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage is more lethal.

They have no control over Dust 514 to begin with, and what's the difference between Tranquillity and Singularity? They don't have any "direct" control over DUST but they do have control over the PSN which is how you play the game. Sisi is a normal server that can be played on, you can fight each other and do whatever you want. The difference is:
1. Nothing on SiSI is real. All ships, ISK and assets you have are from periodic mirrors of tranquility so if you lose 100 ships and 10,000,000,000 ISK on SiSi you don't actually lose it in the actual game. This of course means you have essentially unlimited assets on SiSi as long as you wait until the next mirror.
2. SiSi is full of insanely goofy stuff like cheeseburger turrets that do a million damage and space cows that shoot lasers.
While in the relatively small EVE community these things can be understood when you start dealing with a more casual audience like on a console these are things that Sony is not going to deal with. I'm sure CCP wants to do it but from Sony's point of view it would be a nightmare.
Good Advice
Grey 17 should have stayed missing.
