i think that would fix the situation, isk isnt hard to come by and theres no reason these big intricate war machines should be as cheap as they are, i dont think AV/tanks should be nerfed or buffed just make the goobers who lose one in a match run a defecit if they wanna keep bringing them in

If I knew that if I put in the effort to kill a tank my enemy would really feel where it hurts a mercenary (his wallet) then I'd say keep everything as it is now. I'll AV for entire matches just for the chance to cost those vehicle users a few mil. They hAve the survival tools necessary now to do a job well done and be safe while playing smart. Now make it so that if I catch them slip up I can make them pay for it. A proto suit user can't die more than 1-2 times with decent fit without going into the red. Tanks are way better equipped to survive. And their cost should reflect that.
As of right now I ignore them and go after the decent fit infantry. I have 2 goals when I pub. 1) make large profit. 2) Cost the enemy money. 3) Maintain a kda above 1 "Worrying about keeping it any higher would keep me from reaching the first 2 goals."

I'd say closer to 75% - 80% the usual payout, they are just militia after all - so you shouldn't quite run at a loss if you just lose one per match, but two or more and you'll rapidly start running out of ISK. |

This would be a horrible idea, there are better ways to solve the problem like adjusting stats, so they aren't so "easy to farm people".
A "decent" tank is already running 300k per tank, and one with a proto tank is over 500k per tank. If you took militia to 300k per tank we'd be seeing higher tank prices than 1.7.
Rest assured you will not ever see a day when militia tanks are more expensive than what people can make in a single match, what they will do however and has already been confirmed is playing with some numbers in the upcoming builds.

No, just make them less powerful. I love having cheap tanks to shoot at. I just don't like that I actually have to worry about a mil rail with my missile gunni.

Heck, just choke off ISK entirely, and encourage everyone to never die in a suit that cost ISK. People would all switch back to the basic racial fits we all have for free, and life would be fun again.

Theres also no reason one should cost more than a Frigate in New Eden.... but I do feel like the Dust side economy needs some tweaking....some Assault Rifles in Dust cost more to buy than turrets and ammunition for them which in my mind makes little to no sense.
I don't think MLT tanks need to be increased in price too much a full fit costs ....what.... 60-90K ISK?
Maybe if that fit were around 150K 2/3 or 3/4 of the rewards from a match it would make some changes..... I have also heard other balancing things for tanks.
Blaster only MLT turrets.....
Reduction on HP for MLT tanks.....
Decreased module effectiveness.....
Frankly speaking you are right, in my mind MLT equipment should be inferior to the SP variants of it in the case of tanks I like that HAV are more closely aligned than the dropsuit tiers but I feel like players should not be rewarded, as they are not, for not skilling in tanks and being able to achieve the same results as a 6-15 Million SP tanker.

That kind of price is what has always ****** up vehicle balance in the past.
No vehicle or suit (unless fit with proto/complex stuff) should cost more than you can make in a single battle. Likewise, they should be weak enough for you to lose at least one per battle on average.
