However, that was the only instance today where a non-heavy survived that, so I'm now positive it's hit detection.

Yeah HD is kinda wonky with NK. I blatantly hit a Caldari Assault in the face with my nova knives(ZN-28) with my scout squad mate with me, and my knives were fully charged when he killed me. My friend was surprised when they guy still had a sliver of life left. I died unformately to the Rail Rifle.
Remotes have been acting up too. I put them on the objective, the blow up and no one dies. I've seen it happen with my own eyes. 3 enemies inside and it just explodes but no damage happens.
Shotgun is wonky sometimes too. Hit someone they lol and have no damage dealt while I get lit up. |

Proxies are also weird- saw an HAV drove over a ton of them, yet none exploded.
