I pretty much called it back in October, with the way CCP stating they want to give logis equipment fitting bonuses and make the cloak an equipment. And sure enough, that is what is happening so far, but of course is still subject to change.
What if the scout bonus to cloak fitting was 15% per level or even 20% per level? And then you increase the default cloak fitting costs accordingly.

I was thinking that as well, though my labels were Support, Sabotage, and Recon
Support: Repair tool, Nanite Injector, Nanohive, Uplinks
Sabotage: Remote Explosives
Recon: Active Scanners, Cloak Fields
The logi would get a fitting reduction to support tools while the scout gets a fitting reduction towards recon tools, and eventually a third specialization with fitting reductions towards sabotage tools. And of course I am envisioning this with a lot more equipment to really fill out each of the three types.

How are logis getting a nerf? They are getting 25% off the CPU/PG of the equipment, that is going to allow much better logi fits.
I believe the more accurate description would be "the slayer logis are getting an overall nerf," which I fully embrace. If you want to be a slayer, pick the Assault or Commando. If you want to have lots of equipment, pick the the Logi. You can't be both a slayer and have lots of equipment.
Luckily for all the slayer logis out there, it looks like there will be a respec, so they have a chance to reconsider what they want to spec into.
