Lately, I have been aiming for maximum difficultly by playing Dust 514 with a PS Move controller. a Plasma Cannon, and a squishy Scout suit. While set in this trifecta, I managed to record this 1v1 duel. The level of mediocrity between us is astounding. Setting everything to the sound of the Benny Hill Theme tune is the red cherry on top of this sundae of shame.
I don't know what to say Heck Villan....

PSMove is soooo OP. Look 1 direction while firing in another. It takes time to master solo.. but with a tag team duo with good communication = effortlesseasypie

That's partially what's nice about using the PLC with a Move. You have an interesting twitch capacity in close quarters.

I loved using the move for games like MAG and KZ3 but when I tried using it on DUST I didn't even bother trying to get used to it when I realised you cant move and select your equipment at the same time as a logi this was a big turn off for me, have they fixed that yet?

Nope, you still come to a complete standstill. It's incredibly frustrating that this issue still exists; however, it reflects that fact that so people use the Move. In turn, CCP doesn't dedicate resources to the issue because few people use the peripheral. Oh the joys of a catch 22.

There are some moments when I genuinely feel OP with the device, but those times are only fleeting.

A part of me feels I should send a bug report in response to how damage is registered at the moment of death. That PLC shot was a direct hit, however, the AR fire from LIAR Dark appeared to cancel that strike. My actions were caught in server limbo and UNIX EXE emerged an incredibly lucky merc. gg

If you all weren't able to tell, I was attempting to melee the sniper with a swipe of the PS Move. It didn't appear to activate. It's incredibly hard to do effectively.
I have turned it into a challenge.
No Buffs, Just Fisticuffs - Score a melee kill with the PS Move Controller.
Details for Challenge: [Submission] [Claim with Video]
PS Move control scheme must be active, wherein swiping or jerking the Move controller activates the Melee. I would recommend this one for a 17 ticket payout. At least in my experience it is quite uncommon and difficult to score a melee kill in the first place on the DS3. With a PS Move, the challenge becomes compounded as you have to work with a different mechanism for turning and tracking that is tied to the move controller. Jerking the PS move to initiate a Melee strike is going to jostle your screen perspective. Challenges on challenges. Have fun.

I us the move laser rifle feels like a light sabre rail rifle is cool but anything that requires lost of squeezing the trigger sucks micro movement. Large turrets are crap small turrets rock attack dropships are interesting wish they made it true movement/aiming nova knives are fun

Right you are. I reckon I was thrown off a little from how I actually manage to the survive the last 1v1 engagement that my mind was in full troll mode. That's why you see me attempt to melee the sniper with the move controller. I was trying to find a nice bookend for the clip.

That's a territory I have more exploring to do. My current experiments have show it's tremendously difficult to use. Like all weapons with the move, your cursor is free floating so you can direct damage to a point on the screen and not always what is at the center of your screen. The only advantage I have found (which is kind of significant) is the ability to sideswipe people wherein you charge you knife as you are about to run alongside and enemy (on the ground or mid jump) and in the last moment jerk the cursor to the side of the screen inflicting damage on that target, all the while remaining an an unobstructed forward stride.
