I get ripped apart by rail rifles all the time, despite me shield tanking my suits. Same goes to the combat rifle ( but that thing is a whole different can of worms). For having damage bias that lean towards armour, it sure does not feel like it.

Agreed I like to run my caldar suits the way they SHOULD be run with shields! but a rail rifle takes me out in 7 to 8 shots Amarr FW Supporter. And the bummer is I don't really like using the rail rifle. My playstyle was no longer valid to begin with but RR have made it even worse. Combat rifles not as much. Time for something new. I don't understand why this is so difficult. I get hit by RR and I just find cover when I'm sporting a non RR myself. Even when I have an RR I'm already behind on who is getting the most shots off. If you have a low HP build in general (sub 400) then be a little bit more weary. I get scanned by scouts all of the time so I circle around often to catch them before they get me. I probably look like some kind of fool but It has cut how many shotguns i get to the back by at least 50%. Don't just sprint across the screen in tunnel vision. Take the occasional second and look around and to the distance.
