So I played a match before work today where TWICE there was 3 people standing letting a red kill me. I mean, I fought like crazy to get to the NULL TWICE! Similar situations have happened where I expect cover and I get ZERO cover for the hack.
I have, to my recollection, not minded someone getting killed if it meant I could get the WP but I never allowed it to happen intentionally. I have to believe the circumstance I had was intentional. It doesn't make sense otherwise. |

Ok, I'll confess that I have thrown flux grenades and someone else is running into it simultaneously and they die because I set off remotes. |

Hehe.
It's kind of ironic, the red berry doesn't realize it would have been better to let the blue berry hack the CRU. It would end his miserable existence of being camped.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to solo to a null sometimes? It's freaking hard! I do all of that and see you 5 meters away and all you have to do is protect me for 1 second. Grrrrrr.
I guess I can't be THAT mad. At least you don't steal the hack afterwards. |

Which seems somewhat backwards since the correct word to use should be "hacking." It gets a little morbid when a call is made to hold fire on a Red heading towards a hacking Blue. CRU camping can be a viable tactic. If they are stupid enough to keep spawning in, they deserve every death they get. Also, it helps kill clones. Which is good in the long run. Standing there and camping it at the expense of objectives though. That's the crap I wanna see less of. You aren't trying to win, you just want a better k/d
I can understand the arguement that the team is very far ahead as far as destroying the MCC and at that point camping starts happening. Almost never hack a null under that circumstance. If we have at least a 30% HP advantage I'll switch to another fit and play a slightly different style then going for the NULLs.
That being said, My goal is to win and cloning out isn't always possible so I shoot for the NULLs. Camping when losing is absurd to say the least. |

It doesn't make sense otherwise. those people didnt let you die so they could get the hack they were just too stupid and oblivious to the enemies around them just like most medics who revive when enemies are around, also if you had the situational awareness to know there was exactly three enemies around you should have tried to battle them instead of adjust your wrist watch in front of a computer EDIT: i misread, it was three blues and you with only one red dot, all the more reason you shoulda attacked him, you made a mistake, we all do sometime
For the record I tried to get away but I couldn't and then I heard the heavy (in both cases) shoot all of the sudden from the same spot he/she was at to begin with.
I guess I shouldn't be shocked that someone shows up with a militia AR with three blues circling the NULL. |

Leonid Tybalt wrote:Nope, but I rarely defend them either.
I got Minmatar Logistics up to lvl 5, systems hacking to lvl 4 and always use an enhanced codebreaker.
The likelyhood that a random blueberry hacker would hack faster than me is really small. And if I assist someone we can hack the objective in the blink of an eye and both defend ourselves from present reds.
See that's how I think. Either provide cover or rock the hack. I do Min-logi and sys hack and codebreaker as well. 3 system hacking, 3 in logi, and use enhanced in a module. At least this is for my hack fit. |

Jotun Izalaru wrote:Your job as my ally is to get shot in my place. If a blueberry is hacking it may look like I'm protecting him, but I'm actually just using him as bait.
I usually wait until they're done hacking to set off enemy RE's though I don't wanna have to hack that **** myself.
This is complete nonsense. If we both hack simultaneously then we both don't get shot. It makes zero sense to use some one as bait for no reason other than personal gain. |

If there's a boy hacking and no one else is around, I go get the hack assist.
If enemies are constantly spawning, and there's a blue hacking, I watch his back. Some times it works out, some times it doesn't.
Exactly! Perfect! Couldn't say it better. |
