My tiny scout suit can't do anything unless they're distracted, which I know is what we are suppose to be good at. Usually I can outstrafe their bullets and stuff, but heavys have a lot of bulk for that range. I am now trying out a militia heavy with an advanced rail rifle and complex stuff. It's really effective. My 300 EHP scout suit can't keep up much, and they managed to kill me 12 times in one game. A admit, I detonated myself 5 times, and got a bunch of remote explosive kills, but still...I had to resort to that to kill him and his squad + their teams blueberries. The combat rifle is nice for the scout suit, but anyone can run at a comparable speed and insta kill me. I did get 30 kills, but that's because a bunch of them were camping with forge guns, so their heads were big for me to slice off, and they weren't scanning at me for a bit, so I could slip in and kill a ton of them with remotes. I don't know how to fix this. Remove aim assist? Probably would fix it. I'd rather improve the aiming, because it's too inaccurate for me.

No just bring in a new heavy suit that only allows a HEAVY gun. If you cant kill a heavy GG I did kill DARK twice. Once with a combat rifle, and once when I placed a remote on his rear (or near it).

Pretty pathetic huh? The combat rifle is nice for the scout suit, but anyone can run at a comparable speed and insta kill me. Working as intended, unique fits like that extract tears is what this game needs more of not more FotM junk. The lack of diversity is killing this game and making it dull so don't try to force fits and make it more bland. If anything we need more of everything so suits are unpredictable. It should be if you pair their weapons/modules on a suit, it's more effective than anything else. But also you can make even more roles by changing it up (like a heavy sniper/nova knifer). The heavy sniper's role is not to set up and scout for the enemy. It is to counter snipe, or just snipe in general because he is less mobile. While the Nova Knifing heavy...well...he's just a derp.

Either I strafe and live a bit longer before dying, or aim and die.

And I'm fine with a basic combat rifle to save PG/CPU. I have prof 3.

He barely had health, too.
This is if I'm lucky. I found myself relying on a CR for heavies. Those things are super effective with only one freaking point on operations WITHOUT any damage mods. WTF! I always beat those heavies... just strafe and use headshots to kill them, or at lead with a headshot.
Canari Elphus wrote:Honestly, the Heavy/RR only works in Ambush. In every other mode they add nothing to the team because they take up a vehicle spot for the LAV they need to get around in and can provide no equipment to help out. Most of them that I see in Ambush barely crack a 2 KDR. They will get that first kill or two in a 1v1 but anyone with high ground on them will pick them off as they either try to get to cover or lumber away. And with this challenge, they are giving me a ton of ISK and SP. When I use my adv RR/ScR/HMG/FG heavy, I don't use a LAV...I just kill people, and work as a point defense, as that is what they are for. You can deny ton's of noobs with the Rail Rifle.
