EDIT: +1 to PVE the best addition to Dust 514 since never.

I do have another suggestion and one I have held in secret for a very long time: Maybe this game IS pay to win. I mean, I used to use my fiancee's account (she quickly grew tired of the game) after playing on my own account and noticed that lag was worse and I just generally did really badly. Now that it's been a very long time since I paid for anything related to Dust I seem to have all the problems she did when she never spent a penny on the game. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
I suppose anything is possible, but I haven't spent a dime on Dust for a good amount of time, have more than one Eve account of my own as well, my significant other plays Eve religiously too. We have lag spikes, we have DCs and it is just all in all hit or miss when it comes down to when we lag and what we are doing during which time we are disconnected. Considering my payments to CCP amount to more than $40 a month you would think that any part of their services I enjoy would be protected under the system you seem to be implying is in place. Given that this doesn't seem to be the case I would wager your suppositions to be incorrect.

Without PVE I feel that this game is a bust. No interaction with Eve in any meaningful level means that we are not really a part of New Eden but rather the r3tard child that no one talks about. It is time for a change, time for Dust to become a major force in New Eden and time for something to care about. If this continues to be a COD look alike I may just go play COD.

CCP likes to surprise people with the new toys and not disappoint with unfinished promised features (like Dust). Expect PVE when Dust turns 10, then when it comes sooner you can be pleasantly surprised.
