When you select a module on your fitting screen; it gives you a selection box to either remove, replace or restock. What I request is to add in another option to set that piece of equipment to the sidearm button (L2 for controllers or caps lock / middle mouse button for keyboards). This would make changing to that piece of equipment so much quicker than fiddling around with the depres radial menu every time. Well I already stated how you could optionally select which piece of equipment you would like to use for the sidearm button. Have another read. To answer your question: If an Amarrian Logi wanted to be able to switch to a piece of equipment instead of their sidearm; they would also have this option. In relation to what would happen to their sidearm; I guess they would have to select it using the radial depress menu as if they were to select a piece of equipment how it is now. I guess it would be just a trade off for having a sidearm and depending how important or how often they use their sidearm, its up to them if they decide to use this feature or not. He thinks you mean turn an equipment to a sidearm. Thats what I thought this was about too, but after polishing my glasses and settling into my chair for a read I find this idea incredibly useful.
