I've seen a few threads by now talking about cloaking and scanning and all that jaz, people complaining about things they haven't seen, etcetc, but I decided to make this thread to mark the end of my month-long hiatus and to try and fix a small, more prescient portion of the complaints.
So, Medium Equipment Slot. Some of you think I'm speaking Jovian, but this would fix a button mapping issue that we DS3 users have due to having twelve-odd buttons as opposed to the fifty-odd on a keyboard. If I'm playing DotA 2 and need to cloak, I just hit 3. But what about the DS3 player, having to search through the radial menu for a specific equipment piece?
The solution? The Grenade Slot used to have another name. Not sure what they call it now, but just the same that is the best place for most non-deployable gear. Choose either a grenade OR a scanner OR a cloak, and you can simply hit L2 to toggle. Quick, efficient, and lets the cloak be both 'can't fire during' and free of 'no easy way to turn the f&^%er off' problems.
Also, jetpacks. With the squishy L2 trigger allowing for multiple thrust levels.
Think about it.

1. In all technicality we don't know what anyone in New Eden speaks, nor what dialects they may have. It's just portrayed as English because having to learn an entirely new language to get engaged in a world is a sure step to failure.
2. Glad someone does, I was starting to think that I imagined it.
3. I'm not talking about Mediums. As far as I can recall, Light suits have a grenade slot, and Scout suits specialize in cloaking, maneuverability, and scouting. And if it's a joke about the name 'Medium Equipment Slot', or genuine query, its just a bigger equipment slot. Light to the Sidearm, as it were.

As far as I can tell, an Equipment slot is actually a modified weapon slot judging by the Logi suits vs their Assault counterparts and the Amarr one especially. That would make them High slots, out Highs are actually Mediums, and the Lows are Lows. Grenade slots would the be the situational slots, the slot taken up by the big module like the Triage, Siege, Cloak, Bombs(grenades winkwinknudgenudge) or any other huge rolemaking mods of EVE.
Also, making it take up the same slot as grenades also solves another slight problem. Cloaking with a Bomb Launcher works in EVE, but I want people to picture their reaction after being Core Locus'ed by a cloaker. I can see much controller throwing :3
