Operation shinobi is legit, operation shadow hunt no, it's too easy to kill a poor scout with normal rifles, give us medium and heavy frame a challenge, count our kill if we use plasma cannon, laser rifle, flaylock pistol, shotgun or forge for heavies.

This event is actually really ******* awesome.
Pit two parts of the playerbase against each other with rewards and watch the ensuing havoc. This actually sounds like something that would make sense in canon. The irony here is that these rewards will actually increase the amounts of possible targets to kill. Whoever thought of that should do more stuff like this. Yes, it will derail the game slightly, but in a fun way instead of "destroy 50 installations".
Will you assemble a highlights reel for capsuleers to buy in EVE?

It modifies gameplay, keeping it fresh.
See it as a temporary game mode change.
The scout bonus gives scouts incentive to actually use their scout suits.
The kill bonus against scouts is the real event. Without the scout bonus there wouldn't be any scouts to kill, though, because they would be playing different suits.
It also causes all the snipers and tankers to take up frontline roles. |

When they nrfed the suit going into uprising I think it was because of top dog scouts, now there checking how many are left as true scouts cuz they can see how many die, what suit an scanners everything
