Keeping spam but fixing lag is the right fix, CCP. Don't ever let the playstyle police pressure you into taking away sandbox gameplay. Never ever!

Just because it isn't literally game breaking anymore, doesn't mean that 'mechanic' that enables proper equipment spam (ie. swapping suits get effectively have as much equipment slots as you want) is anything other than broken. thats why i blow up supplly depots
Which is also a sandbox mechanic. Good for you. |

No, it isn't. It's literally the most logistical thing that logis can do in this game. |

It's literally the most logistical thing that logis can do in this game. What's the point of all those extra slots when you can just get more hives and uplinks by swapping to another suit? Why have all those slots when anyone becomes a logi at a supply depot? If a logi wants to fit all four slots with uplinks or hives, cool, have at it, but you shouldn't be able to just swap to another suit to place more, it defeats the purpose of having those extra slots in the first place.
What's the purpose of the extra logi slots if a player can just change suits at a supply depot and get more equipment, you ask? Let's try this analogy out for size...
Why might a customer still be motivated to buy the large soda at dining establishments that offer free refills?
1. Because I want to. Choice is a beautiful thing.
2. Because it's more convenient for me to have an abundance of soda at once, which makes me less reliant on needing to get refills.
The logi has a large cup, gets large refills, and enjoys the utility that comes with having those advantages. In order to perform the same amount of logistical activity, non-logis have to take their small cup to the fountain machine many more times, which robs time away from activities more suited to their class. Also, the logi deserves his or her large cup because he or she paid a lot of SP and ISK to enjoy those special advantages.
