Although lower is better for detection as most signatures are given in negative dB...

I'm pretty sure it is based on sound because radar can't see through walls. LMAO!
Yes it can, walls just attenuate it! Did you even Google this first?!?!? This isn't even darpa tech, you could build it in your garage with horn apertures and a laptop...

Typically radar uses electromagnetic waves that have longer wavelengths than visible light. These waves are absorbed and reflected fairly easily because of it. However, electromagnetic waves with higher frequencies like X-rays and Gamma rays can pass through walls. But these are also just as likely to pass through our bodies as the wall. Sound travels worse through solid objects than electromagnetic waves. In truth, there is no real world explanation for how the scanner is able to perform as well as it does. especially without cooking the user and target.

And thus you now have the FCR (fire control radar) of a modern jet fighter. They do put out enough RF energy to fry you if you get to close and stay in it's range for too long. All those dog fighters up there painting each other with RF energy all the time. Maybe each suit is a grounded faraday cage...
Also, fighter pilot backlobe and faulty RF snuff. ![Shocked](https://forums.dust514.com/Images/Emoticons/ccp_shocked.png)

Someday, I'll be able to use the cloak to:
-Sneak into mining sites, assassinate miners, sabotage their gear and steal their resources. -Infiltrate enemy hq, eavesdrop on high level meetings, and sell info to top bidder. -survey enemy outpost guard rotations, note weak points in perimeter defense, and sell data to enemies.
until then I'll be one of the four people on my team trying to win the match while the other twelve try to knife each other while invisible.

Son-Of A-Gun wrote:"...While integrated friction and impact dampening reduce the overal sound signature." What is up *****es! I knew there was a reason I thought it was sound. I've read that before. Sonar footsteps...good job.
