Anyone using 5 damage mods is an idiot.
Stacking penalties make the last couple almost worthless.
Shield extenders would be much better. So, glass cannons with triple damage mod and 2 shield extenders.
Although I'd like to point out that the CR doesn't even need that much damage modding to instagank...

It'll still be quite lulzy I guess. You might even eke out an extra half point of damage.

Also despite it seeming OP, chances are that it will be much harder than the scout suit because you will have less speed and no stealth game.

I agree the problem isn't stacking, the problem is suit bonus + 2/3 complex damage mods plus an inevitable duel buffer tank.

Ttk is low at 132% x base damage now with scr and cr. It can now get to 170% Easily. Not a good idead buffing damage output... |

What if CCP made the Aiming controls half decent, the DS3 aiming customization epic. And removed Aim assist and everyone had to aim for themselfs?
TTK issue largely fixed when each bullet that lands is actually aimed by the player. |

Nah... just use a mouse. Easy as hell. Besides aim assit doesnt even work in ADS. |

If you crunch the numbers the sweat spot is 2 Damage mods.
2 Damage Mods on the Minmitar gives the same as 3 Damage mods on other suits. This frees up an extra high slot for Tank.
The Racial Suit bonus gives an additional 6.1% damage if you equip 3 Complex Damage mods. It gives and additional 6.8% damage if you equip 4 damage mods. (Of course that would be a bit stupid.)
Keep in mind that the bonus is applied to the module, and stacking penalties apply.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else, there is the Learning Coalition.

Why would you equip 5 Damage Mods?
That last Complex Damage Mod only gives you 1.9 % damage even with the racial suit bonus. And what would you have to give up to meet the fitting requirements for fitting 5 Damage Mods?

I hope we get a Dropsuit Command Tree respec.
80% of DUST players will spec into Minmitar because they see GÇ£DPS BonusGÇ¥.
I will spec into Caldari. 2 Shield extenders will give me the Tank of 3 Shield extenders on any other suit, but with less shield refresh delay, which will open a slot for an extra Complex Damage mod.
My Minmitar opponents will have just a couple more points of DPS than me, and I will have vastly more Health.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else, there is the Learning Coalition.

First off, Stop saying it will be OP when you have base 150/130 HP. Secondly, you don't have the CPU to run 5 dmg mods and proto anygun. Stop being stoopid. Yes Min assault will be armor tanked, but only because the fitting cost of armor is so low. Its minimal CPU/PG for more HP, most bang for your buck. The highs will either be 2x cmplx dmg mod or 3x dmg mod fitted with cmplx and enh shield ext. Cry about it being OP, but everyone save the Amarr is getting a big boost to HP, and the Amarr is currently the only suit that can run EVERYTHING proto. Each suit has trade offs....there are gives and takes with each one. Don't whine and ***** because YOUR suit isn't THEBESTATEVERYTHING. Every suit has a niche, and within that niche each suit has versatility, but don't try to flank in an amarr suit and then cry on the forums that you get smashed cuz ur too slow. And don't ***** that Minmatar is OP when you don't play the suit and have no idea what its like to fit one.
Min assaults have been a joke for almost 6 mos., we've had to sit back and get nerfed into the ground while Amarr and Gall assaults have raped. And now it cracks me up that all the amarr assaults are crying cause their scrambler crutch bonus might be vanishing and you might actually have to GIT GUD. LOLZ.
