As I am rusty from not playing this piece of crap game for almost 3-4 months now, I decided to tank myself for the first couple of matches just to get my grove back. Went pretty much positive the entire game and finished off with a 2.5 KD at the end of the game.
But this game was boring as hell. I have never ever been in a scenario where it has taken people more than 10 seconds to kill me after getting the drop on me. I mean seriously where are the days when you could down a person in 2-3 seconds when you got the drop on them. This pretty much continued for better parts of the entire match. I came to this conclusion at the end of the match;- the quality of players in the particular match were way below substandard. Yes! I said it! The quality of dust players right now is pathetic. Shooting and killing stationary dummies will be more of a challenge.
On to the next game and I get on my lol beast mode with my Raven assault loadout with the combat rifle. I am pretty much going ham on these idiots when suddenly;- bam bam bam im dead. I get sniped! I say whatever and move on. I go into the complex and suddenly again bam bam bam im dead again. It was time to hunt, kill and teabag that sniper.
As being an expert sniper myself i had a rough idea where that sniper was. I flank him and guess what;- the dude is exactly where I thought he would be in the red zone with a clear line of sight into the complex with absolutely nothing between him and the compound. If anybody had to flank him from the compound they would have about 400 mts of open space between them and the sniper.
Absolutely terribly horrible map design! After killing him and teabagging his sorry ass I see him on ground with a scrambler. Then I notice on the killfeed another sniper and I say to myself here were go again. I go the same spot and lo behold;- a numnut sniping from way beyond in the red zone He got the same treatment the other sniper got. Killed and teabagged. I decided to hang around there just to make sure none of those idiots in that team make the same mistake. An guess what;- the nunmut i killed before hope himself into a DS and tries to crush me with it. The idiot instead crashes the viper and gets himself killed and teabagged my again. Between those 2 numnuts of snipers I spent my time tango with an enemy rail tank. I swear it suprised the heck out of me when those rails fired at me as faster as a flaylock did. Im glad the tanker in question was garbage and couldnt hit me. But boy oh boy;- those rails are pretty mean and have a long range. I ended the game with a 4 KD.
And that was it for me.
Red lines need to be readjusted and red line rail tanks and snipers need to go. These things can make the game less fun for new comers.
TL;DR New player bases is garbage Red line rail tanks are garbage Red line snipers are garbage Thanks for the heads up but your stance is that good map design = no red line sniping? Don't you mean, good sniper = finds LOS regardless of map design?
You saying, "Who makes a military complex that doesn't obscure LOS against sniping?"
I've have given this some thought and I realized that we can try to block LOS with objects but then the routes around those objects become target points for the sniper. Does that make sense? Leme rephrase. By playing with the map design to make it hard for snipers, we will actually make it easier for snipers. A good sniper will always find LOS to a high traffic target point. You are a veteran sniper so you understand this right?

Maybe I shall rephrase. By trying to block objectives LOS with map design we in turn create new points of high traffic for the snipers to target. So you understand that the objective is never really blocked.
