Can you say pathetic?
Armor reps are a complete joke. CCP Logibro confirmed that they are tweaking various suits' HP, CPU, PG, Slots, and other various base stats. With that said, there is not enough evidence to confirm nor deny anything. Just because the Amarr Assault suit we know today has the fewest slots doesn't mean the Amarr Assault suit they planned this bonus for has the fewest slots. It's the armor rep itself. 5 hp base at complex. WTF It should rep 10 so the skills could actually multiply something. FYI, the game does count decimals in your health in your armor and armor repair rate, even if it's not listed. So a complex armor repair module does 5 hp/s. But to get a complex armor repair module, you have to have level 5 armor repair systems, which grants 25% more efficacy of the modules. Then combine that with the Amarr Assault bonus. So that is: 5 hp/s * 1.25 * 1.25 = 7.8125 hp/s. So each complex repair module will actually do 7.8125 repair per second. Witch is sadly useless during combat, your better off having 40-85 more EHP to survive a fight then to actually loose EHP to run a repper that gets a 1.6 extra Reps / second. Lol not really, if you have better strafing and better aim then the enemy you'll win unless you right in front of a heavy or facing a weapon that perfectly counters you. Having fast reps means you can kill some one, rep quickly, then go kill again. Also lets say the guy is right with the 7.8 armor reps a second if you get in a gun fight with some one and you make him miss enough with your strafing that he has to reload lets say 3 sec as its the AR's base reload and an RR's with reload skill, and if you have 1-2 armor reps on you'll gain 23.4 - 46.8 HP. Even he doesn't hit the reload or he has a side arm you're constantly gaining HP during the fight, so the skilled players who can actually strafe and make people miss will gain decent HP during the fight, and if you have cover you can quickly regen you health by ducking in and out of cover.
Also if you don't like the new bonuses for amarr assault skill into a different suit, I'm already saving my SP to switch to a different protosuit.
