So while scout changes aren't included in the info from SiSi, I don't see that as a reason why we can't get involved in the wild speculation like everyone else.
Based on what we can see for the Medium and Heavy bonus changes, does any one have thoughts on changes for the Lights?
Following the common dropsuit format, there should be a common Scout suit bonus, coupled with a race specific bonus.
Unless they're making changes to how scanning works, I expect that scout suits will retain their 5% reduction in scan profile as the common Scout bonus, but that still leaves the racial specific ones.
From the details of the other (unverified) changes, it would appear that they're moving away from giving bonuses to specific weapons (goodbye nova knives), but still retaining bonuses to specific equipment. However, putting equipment bonuses on Scouts would result in cross over between Logi's and Scout suits (only remote explosives are unaccounted for in the Logi's), so I would expect that we're looking at module focused bonuses instead.
so maybe something along the lines of:
5% reduction to PG/CPU cost of biotic modules per level 5% reduction to PG/CPU cost of scan modules per level 5% increase to biotic modules efficiency per level 5% increase to scan modules efficiency per level
Alternately, the Assault suits show bonuses to specific modules, so it may be more along the lines of:
5% increase in speed modifier efficiency per level 5% increase in endurance modifier efficiency per level 5% increase to scan enhancer efficiency per level 5% increase to data miner efficiency per level

What I want to see for the minni scout is a bonus to RE's something like +5% damage and blast radius..

This. I have no specific interest in cloaking and, to be honest, I'm not confident of CCP's ability to implement it in a way that isn't broken. I'd hate for Scouts to end up getting a rebalance around a single mechanic because it ends up as FOTM. |
