Stop playing, I think that is the only shoice you have at this point if you are really involved in the amarrain scene.
The amount of bastardization the amarrians have suffered from shangahi is ridiculous. Dual tankers? Loosing 1 slot for ****? Rep bonuses?
So not only do amarrians have the least amount of items in game (and it is not really even close), they are the most gimped as a whole.
The scout will be ******* horrible with 4 slots AT PROTO.
The commando is just terrible with 3 slots AT PROTO.
Hell even the ONE EQUIPMENT that amarr had are not really amarr anymore. Look who produces all of the uplinks now.... NOT ONE AMARRIAN CORP.
Jesus christ man.
While there is no better place to be wealthy than the Gallente Federation, there is no hell worse for the poor either.

But then you get called out on the forums when you point out that the Amarrians are actually the gimped race in the game. You're honestly the first person I've met on these forums that has realized the same that I have, that the Amarrians are severely gimped overall.
Other forum goers will try and tell you that we have the highest eHP ceiling and yadda yadda yadda, but they don't even bother to do really look into it and realize that our eHP ceiling is around the same, and in some case lower than the other races.
I know for a fact that CCP Wolfman is an Amarrian, but I swear that he is the only one in the entire company.

The Amarr assault has been killed by this change on the surface. A playstyle will die with that bonus.
However, there are other changes on the horizon to the base stats. I suppose that may be some consolation.
In any case, I will go back to my Gallentean roots. The plasma rifle may be the worst rifle, but it is my rifle.

Admittedly the new Tank changes are silly and have benefited FoTM chasers and infantry scrubs more than the actual tanking community.
