I logged in to 1.7 after not having played for...well, several months at least. I was happy to have the ability to respec my character and explore so much of the new iteration of the game. FW and the whole LP side of things is particularly interesting. But I have a couple of questions:
1. The respec was available on my 'Passive Skill Active' character only. My alt (on the same account) was entirely skilled just as I'd left him (~2.6MM into heavy and exclusive forge guns...making him almost laughably useless in the current world of speedy replaceable Sicas and Somas). So what's the deal? Only the 'PSA' character gets the respec?
2. Moving forward, do we expect additional respecs? I'm assuming there will be some tremendous changes to vehicles, suit/role bonuses, equipment fitting costs, etc. So if we do expect additional respecs, how soon? |

No. You only got a respec for vehicles that were removed and skill trees re-worked.
You don't get a respec when CCP decides to nerf your weapons/suits |

Huh. That's honestly not what I was expecting. With everything changing all over the place, I figured it was something that was just granted so people could re-kit. |

No the Vehicle trees were entirely replaced. As there were no parallel skill sets the only option left was a refund of the vehicle tree.
