Scrolling through 3 pages of modules to find the CPU upgrades gets tiring after a few months. Having 10 types of each weapon is frustrating to look at when you're searching for something in particular. Wouldn't it be great if you could trade all this scrap in for ISK?
Well now you can! Here's how:
My friends and I have begun running squads full of people in "scrap fit's" to tidy those lists up a bit, clearing out old outdated items that we no longer need. Note that this is not for the kd/r obsessed, it's merely a fun way to clear up your lists in crappy fits and be entertained whenever you get a kill with something trashy.
For example, 2 of my current SCRAP YARD fit's:
Adv Gal Basic Frame
3 Militia Cardiac Regulators
2 Basic Light Damage Mods
Duvolle TAR
Militia SMG
Militia Locust Grenades
Militia Injector
Std Gal Basic Frame
1 Militia Shield Extender
2 Militia Armor Repair Mods
1 Militia Armor Plate
Militia AR
Flaylock Pistol
Fused Locust Grenade
Militia Repair Tool
Since I run Minmatar suits and only Minmatar suits, these Gallente suits that I got for testing back in 1.3 are just taking up space in my inventory. As are all of these militia items from last January, and all of these AR's left over from pre-CBR days (I still have 286 GEKs, 198 Duvolle TARs, 129 Allotek burst AR's, and 150ish Creodron Breach AR's from salvage alone), not to mention the plethora of random other stuff that I specced into that I no longer use.
Making up fit's filled with scrap is a great way to clear up your shelves and trade it all in for ISK. You run your crap fits in pubs, and if you die you are only losing things you no longer need and never plan to restock, so any money you make at the end of the match is pure profit.
Buff passive scans & fix TTK!

I did this with vehicle militia modules a few months back; just glued them to BPO LAVS and went murdertaxiing. Post nerf, so it wasn't very effective. Worth every minute, though :)

Scrapyard... damn... you should see my EVE char's assets list...
A few years of trading all over the cluster has left me with quite a lot of junk all over the place. |

I've tried this a few times but there is just so much junk. I can't wait to flood the market with it and discount prices. I'd even be happy to have a trash function at this point.
