My Score was 25/0, only 1 was a roadkill.
Seriously guys, the only reason people aren't asking to nerf the hell out of this tactic is because everything is being eclipsed by Tank spam right now and no one has skilled into this turret. The Small Railgun turret is a rapid fire tactical sniper that, at the advanced level, does 348 damage per shot with a half second delay between shots.
My fit is as follows :
Methana -
Militia Scanner
Basic Armor Hardener
Efficient Light Armor Repair
Pretty sure it needs armor fitting proficiency to fit, probably doesn't need it maxed. For those looking to just try out the fit swap out the Hardener with an Armor Plate.
I use a Militia Heavy Suit in order to soak up as much damage as possible, if I take too much infantry damage I switch to the driver's seat and drive away. If AV appears on the field I have my 40% Hardener for emergencies. The only ways I've been taken out are with extremely well placed Proxy Mines, Rail Tanks, or Railgun Installations (crazy AI). Occasionally I can be shot out if I'm careless. In this instance the Rail Rifle is the most likely culprit though I've been shot out by shotgunners that have snuck up on me on occasion as well.
I laugh at single swarmers (barring proto swarms) or forge gunners because I can easily turn on my hardeners, turn my turret around, and gun them down before they do significant damage to me. Try it guys, really.
Oh, and buff AV.

10,000 years in the past, and we have better light vehicles than the highly advanced civilizations of EVE.
But I digress. Small Railgun turrets are quite good. I've seen Gunlogis make great use of them to defend their tank.
Combined with the fact that they're the easiest turret to fit PG wise and yeah, I can totally see why Gunnlogis would prefer them. They're seriously underappreciated.

Either that or there are just some hit detection issues, I've had my red dot tagged straight into the center of a person and still have it not register the shot, it can be frustrating in those instances.

Btw: best kill streak i had was landing on 5 people at once, then squishing the next guy against a wall, activate NoS, squish 2 others.
Hey man, do what works. If you prefer to just run over people the good ol' fashion way then you're totally entitled to do that. Just letting people know that alternatives to that playstyle exist, and it's really REALLY good.
