Lead your corporation to defeat, after defeat and defeat again until you win, then after you win, you get taken seriously and suffer though more defeats until you start to genuinely win by your stratagems, leadership, charisma, charm, and a bit of influence as you continue to lead your troops from battle to battle and begin to plan out your longer term strategies.

Every one who has posted in this thread are not generals. How does the marvelous 21yrold Knight know this well? It is simple all you have to do is pay me 10 million isk and you become a general. None of these people have paid me yet they are all frauds.

don't pay him, though I assume since you are new you don't have any real quantity of isk anyway.
if you are talking about general as in the military rank. dust has no ranking system and there are no levels.
if you are talking about the corporation generals it appears that they are 18+ and you are not 18. if you know someone in the generals you can send them a mail and they can probably get you in but as I'm not nor have I ever been in that corp I don't know how strict their recruiting policy is.
if you are just looking for a corp there are several corps dedicated to teaching new players the ins and outs of the game. dust uni and RON1N come to mind (ronin is a scout training corp and run by really really good scouts)
also you might want to check out the rookie training grounds section of the forums it contains a ton of really good threads for new players to the game.
