Ploo-Koon Subdreddit Test Alliance Please Ignore 537	Posted - 2014.01.07 01:59:00 - [1] - Quote I run mostly solo domination and so I end up in a lot of matches as a random against a team with 1 or 2 squads. Periodically I end up on the stompER team and on those occasions I'm 4th-7th(below the squad(s)) or so and I get between 3-4k SP. Most of the time, however, I am on the team getting the stomp and unless I'm off my game I'm ending up 1st or 2nd and get 6-8k SP. I use the same suits with the same tactics in both games. Raven assault with BPO shields and armor, and the important part: R-9 Uplinks. Primarily my WPs come from running R-9 Uplinks so the connection is obvious: the stomped team dies more, so more opportunity for WPs. My gun game isn't terrible, I can hold my own and I have a decent amount of SP but I profit more by farming a bad team than contributing to a good team. It seems counter intuitive to me but I don't see a more profitable solo strategy while matches are so one-sided. (GöÉGöî ).....[ a¦Å^Gûá ].....{ a¦Å\°/a¦Å }.....( : : )

In matches where I'm on the same side as a well organised squad or two I normally come in 4th-7th with a lower SP payout, while in disorganised matches I normally end up in the top three and high SP. The main difference I've found is that with a disorganised team I may have 3-4 uplinks up and running at any one time, and have the only uplinks on the map. With an organised team I may only have 1 or 2 of the 10+ on map, and as the prime spots have already been covered I'll just be opening up secondary locations where people are less likely to spawn. Over a match can be the difference of about 1000-1200 WP. I guess the difference in SP makes sense when you think about it. You're far more valuable to the disorganised team than you are to the organised one, so your reward is is comparatively greater. So don't think of it as farming you team, think of it as providing them with the opportunity to excel

Blueberries hit those things like a rented mule. Many builds ago I was in a match where I had the only uplinks, which were in the prime camping spot for that map. Total WP reward from links - 3000. They were burning the things out so fast that placing them was a full time job.

I hate when I'm in a match and I'm the only one running links. People you don't have to run them all game just start out with them and put them in a good area where they won't be quickly destroyed. I personally try to stick my ups at least a 100m out from whatever objective I'm attacking so that I have somewhat of a chance that a scanner doesn't pick it up.

Winning gets you bigger ISK payouts, because you got paid better for completing your contract as a mercanary. SP payouts are experiance points for in battle experiance, if your on a stomping team and a squad or two is doing all the heavy lifting your charicter is not likely learing allot, buuut If your being stomped and your now doing allot fo the heavy lifting and learing to get points despite heavy oposition than your charicter is learning allot.

The worse my team was, the more WP I got. I had several matches over 450k isk with solo orbitals. If my team did well, I would spam hives for triage points on the enemy's redline and then pull out my forge or rail tank. So about those vehicle locks...

I-Shayz-I I-----I 1818	Posted - 2014.01.07 06:10:00 - [16] - Quote As a logi, I can say that I tend to only score above 3k wp in a match when we're going up against a tough opponent and everyone is dying/needs healing, or if I'm on the losing team. Too much inbalance and no one gets wp. If you're with stompers, no one gets hurt enough for you to help. If you're being stomped, everyone's dying so fast that you can't possibly revive/heal fast enough...or you die before you can do anything. Rewards are given out by the place that you are in in the battle. I usually top the scoreboard and get about 7-8k sp (11-13k with the booster). in reality though, time determines your rewards more than anything. If you are in an unbalanced match it will go by quickly and you won't get as many points. However, if the match is really even and lasts 20-25 minutes you will get a ton more isk and sp. As you have found out, this puts you most likely on the loosing side, which is good for SP farming. Get in a dropship and place the six uplinks in very good spots where they can't be easily shot by the reds. Now, sit back and collect your SP. The blues get killed fast and spawn often. I have to sometimes refreshen my uplinks due to overuse. It's easy to rack up 6-8K due to the blues not having a clue to drop their own uplinks. +25, +25, +25, +25, +25, ect... for 15 minutes adds up!
