If you are "The Scout CPM", "The Tank CPM", "The Infantry CPM", or any other sort of variant, then you are what is wrong with this game. Not one person on these forums is willing to compromise on their own playstyle, instantly shooting down any ideas that may slightly shift the current meta, quickly escalating to name calling and threats. I know the voting system is going to boil down into a popularity contest to see who can farm more likes by stating the obvious, but I just wanted to throw my two cents in there. If you have tunnel vision for one game aspect, then I do not want you, and your appointment to CPM will only be detrimental to the game. Quite honestly, I don't think the CPM is as powerful as people make them out to be, and your advocating for one aspect would be a promise that, by design, you probably won't be able to keep. My view on how people are running for CPM1 I approve of this message. Because had we had a Scout n Cpm 0, he'd would have so far 0 instances to directly contribute. As with a logi CPM, tank CPM, and myriad other roles. The very very few instances where such role would have been useful most of the cpm supported the changes. Now an FW CPM is far far far more useful, as is an NPE one, and general sociable game play type of persons. CEOs would qualify over the 'game play' cpms. Essentially if I was CCP and you're an assault player who never flew a vehicle in his life let alone not kill them, and bring you a whole host of changes involving vehicles? what use are you? This scenario can happen far far far too often and if you shoehorn yourself into one corner of the game you're going to miss the massively big picture. To be fair though, this game does encourage specializing, so unless they've been around since closed beta, they may very well be locked into one play style simply due to the nature of the game. So, while I of course agree that they need to be open to all aspects of the game, the simple fact is that the game itself encourages people to NOT spread out and try all the game has to offer, so you're bound to get candidates who are only fully familiar with a couple playstyles.
