Flux nanohive increases the radius of the ammo field by 1.1x the normal radius...for a good deal more isk. That's practically nothing. We're talking .6/.7 meter increase, wtf.
I suggest buffing it to twice the radius to make the variant actually worthwhile, so like 12-14 meters. Of couse, this might be better if it was applied AFTER the fix to equipment spam so it doesn't lag the game, but I have to throw it out there now so that CCP can maybe think about changing a number while they're busy changing other things.
I also nominate this equipment for worst variant ever. The flux uplink is actually quite good (reduces spawn time by a decent amount), the flux scanner is able to scan 200 meters and covers almost the entire battlefield, the flux grenade can decimate a shield tank's shields with only 2-3 grenades...
The gallente must suck at making nanohives then right? Nope. The Allotek nanohive gives 15% ammo per cycle and 40 hp/s armor repair. No excuse.

Do you have a source for this supposed fix for equipment spam or are you just saying there needs to be a fix?

Just spent half an hour trying to look for the stupid dev post confirming they were working on a fix, but couldn't find anything. Tried searching under equipment, uplink, nanohive, and everything else.
But I assure you I saw them make a post about it. Now that I think about it, they never said anything SPECIFIC about nanohives or uplinks, or even using the word equipment because it was a reply to a question about the problem.
For example, something like:
Are you doing anything about equipment spam? CCP: We're working on a fix for this, but don't have a timeframe for when it will be deployed.
So searching for it is very troublesome.

The Ishukone Nanohive and Ishukone Flux Nanohive have the same ISK cost; the only difference, aside from the 10% buff in radius, is that the Flux requires 6 more CPU. |

Not a bad increase, and if that's radius that means the bubble grows by 1.2 meters. And yet you say that it's practically nothing. Something is wrong in your post, compadre.
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage is more lethal.

In this game, 1 meter is about the size of a single step.
Maybe I should make a video to show the size difference, and why the variant hardly does much at all. But first I need to re-look at some of the stats because apparently I'm really really wrong about this?
I could have sworn that the flux agreed to be the worst variant in the game, but maybe things changed?
