Your timers are still ridiculous. 20 districts split between 2 timers is bad, but 55 or however many you have? Between 2 timers? Maybe if you had the players to defend that many districts it'd be okay. But I'm guessing you could put out maybe 6 or 7 full teams at once, combined with Nyain Chan?
Ancient Exiles have half the districts you do, but they are spread over multiple timers and I know for a fact that they welcome PC battles. Granted your districts aren't locked, but with that many stacked timers over 2 timers you are just denying access to 1/5 of Molden Heath.
I really hope CCP implements something to prevent your corporation from abusing PC like this. Yes you earned those districts fair and square, but you didn't earn the right to turn PC into your own private ISK farm. It's ******* shocking that you try to justify this bull-****.

They set their timers to the times that work for their player base. How is that an abuse of any game mechanic? If someone could organize a large force to take advantage of their stacked timers, it does seem they are vulnerable to that. That no one has done so is evidence of the logistical challenge of getting a bunch of people out of bed, not any malfeasance on the part of NS. There is only a handful of corps that could take a district from NS and hold it with maybe a handful more that could at least pose some kind of threat. Thus, the GÇ£wake up early with a good team and take one district at a timeGÇ¥ hasnGÇÖt happened. Exploiting extant conditions of (virtual) reality to further aims is what smart people do. Right now, NS has no real challenge in their time zone(s) and thus are able to hold relatively more land than they might be able to given different conditions. This isnGÇÖt a problem to be solved by a game mechanic. -Aramis
So you think it's reasonable to be able to set 18 districts under 1 timer? I'm sure that at least 16 of Nyain's players are active for more than 2 hour period each day.
No-one has arranged such an attack on them because there's probably not actually enough players still playing this game to make this attack work. The system is broken and nobody really cares enough to do anything about it.
But jesus man, don't choke too hard on Nyain's bulging ****. |

I know NS has some great players... the fact is that you hold more land than those players can defend and you know it. Hence the attempted bash on my corp.
I have said this from the start of the post... NS is a great corp that has used CCP's lack of intelligence to its advantage.. which any corp WOULD DO THE SAME. The only thing I disagree with is 25% of MH being held by a corp because of those exploits. All I came here to do was get a feel from the NON NS players if a FEC style attack would work or not. It looks like about 75% of people agree with me.
Do I think this attack will happen? NO... Why? Because I am not invested enough and I haven't been here long enough to gain the contacts needed to pull something like this off... Are there others on these forums that could do it.. YES... would I participate... HELL YES.
It is all just a dream to me to watch NS go from 55 districts down to the 15 or so they actually deserve... we can all dream can't we.
so based on what you are saying the corps that have a unfair timer for our japanese players are using the same exploit that you say we are using
Okay so you say your 50 districts are set between two timers because that's when your Japanese players are most active, fair enough. So are you genuinely saying that you couldn't field a full team at any timer other than the two that your districts are set to? Or do you use only two timers so that the sheer numbers of bodies to stack against all these timers is pretty much impossible to amass?
PC replaced corp battles, so I don't really see the point in having that many districts if you don't actually use them for corp battles. You leave your districts unlocked and respect for that, but unfortunately the majority of this game is too scared of you (and the lag they associate playing you with), to actually attack you. If you were able to split a few of your districts amongst some other timers you would probably get some more competition. Yeah you're farming a ridiculous amount of ISK, but there's more to Dust than gathering an infinite amount of imaginary currency. |

Yeah I totally understand what you're saying but like I said earlier Ancient Exiles have something like 30 districts that are spread over many different timers. Your players might not be as active as theirs but I find it hard to believe that a corp as powerful as Nyain San, that have a large feeder corp in Nyain Chan, are only active in a 2-hour period.
Anyway if you ever get a few later timers I'll look forward to a battle against you  |
