Tired of getting tank spammed!? Then do something about it!
Spec into AV. Tanks aren't going away in this game, and you HAVE to deal with them.
FORGE GUNS and PROXIMITY EXPLOSIVES
Don't bother with AV grenades, Swarm Launchers, or Plasma Cannons.
If you don't have AV, then cover the people who are trying to deal with the vehicles. They are unarmed, so you NEED to protect them from infantry. |

Don't bother with AV grenades? Last match I killed 4, yup 4 tanks with standard AV grenades. |

Or I could just use scrub tank fits and not have to spend any SP combating the FOTM? That sounds like a much better option. |

Are forge guns a legitimate choice for a balanced rookie build given that a STD outfit will require Weaponry 5 for a specialist weapon?
Remotes are a little bit more affordable, versatile and can earn you both kills and LOLs even when respawning.
Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.

You havent made any comments about a militia build for it.
Given that std vs militia have exact same damage, and same reload times... i dont see much point in basic. Other than the 1 extra bullet in the clip.
If you cant kill them in the 3 shots from the militia, odds are you're not going to kill them with one more... you'll probably have to reload anyway.
(and for the record, I've gotten a few dropship kills with the miltia fit. Only a handful of tank kills though. usually they hit their hardeners and run away after 2 shots) |

If you don't want to spend SP, the best thing you logis (or even assault bros) can do during severe tank spam is to find a heavy forger and stick with him. I can't tell you the number of times I've almost killed a tank, but wasn't able to finish the job because I was focused on the tank, but no one was covering my a$$.
