I have been wanting to know just in a curious sense of why people protostomp in pub matches.
Some reasons that I can guess:
-Just because you can
-wanting to waste millions of isk for a few hundred isk
-want to win no matter what
-destroy all red berries
I would like to here why people do it just know why not because i am raging about it |

Most people do it because they can.
Although I've come across some terrible players who only do good because they use Proto.

It just so happens we have proto and use it.. Also just so happens we have ISK like crazy

So if you didn't protostomp then you wouldn't be able to play with your corpmates? I can understand you and Roner running Proto (I doubt the Scout G/1 series is very good >.>) but is there some "no ****" requirement in AE?

I'll use good gear in faction war to crush the Amarr. I avoid using it in public matches to give the rookies more of a chance.

Some people think that quitting after doing poorly will hide the ratings from their KD/R readings. But that's not true in the least.
Others may have to do things such as.... work, food, chores... etc.

I don't use it all the time, only in some matches. Sometimes I just feel like bringing out out because I've been steamrollered so many times by squads using it. Feels nice to be on the opposite side from time to time.

I don't understand question...
We just play together... And it just so happens most of us use proto in pubs because.. Why not?
And no I use my assault ak.0 for pubs. **** my scout

A lot of people run proto simply to go up against other proto using players. Why have them slaughter your team when you can kill them in your proto suit 1v1 compared to losing in a BPO suit in the same engagement?
So about those vehicle locks...

This. If I see proto's I run proto's. Otherwise I run my BnB fit that costs like 25k a pop.

I've seen some protostomps where absolutely none of the winners lost more than two suits. Maybe they're using AURUM when they have to? Or doing their grinding with alts? Who knows . . . |

I, personally, don't. I can afford to, but I just don't want to.
I run advanced suits mainly. I only run proto if my teammates are willing to revive me.
I normally limit myself to 1-2 deaths in proto before switching out.
I just run it when I feel that it is safe to do so. I don't like losing money. And if I can play a round and not die at all, why shouldn't I?
In short, I run whatever makes me go ISK positive. Sometimes that's proto. Most of the time, that's Advanced fits.
Get over it. If you don't play to win in FW, then you're playing for Caldari. -Patrick57

I think I finally found my best fittining in the game and it's all ADV gear (minus the damage mods, of course)
When you mow down 5-10 of those low-level wannabe stompers in a row it's really hard to stop laughing maniacally and reload.

-wanting to waste millions of isk for a few hundred isk - If you Die less than 3 times you still make ISK
-want to win no matter what - Against other Proto Stompers
-destroy all red berries - That's the point isn't it ?

Edit:
I mean by only using full protogear, not just a bunch of squads.
