...Get a ninja sword and some ninja stars for my scout.
Ninja sword (nova sword) should go in the light slot and ninja stars (nova stars) Should go in the grenade slot. You should get like 20 nova stars and it should take like 2 to take out a well fit proto med frame with proto stars and skills (but they should be slightly dificult to aim/use some how, but great for short distance sneak attacks). Also, despite going in the grenade slot, nova stars should still get bonuses like all the other weapons (operation, proficiency, ammo capacity, etc.).

I too would love to see a Nova sword in DUST in some form. On the other hand while I can appreciate your proclivity toward traditional ninjutsu and the weaponry associated with it I cant see throwing stars ever happening.
Now having a type of equipment that you can throw and attach to enemy combatants that slowly saps hp, permanently strips armor or shields I can see happening. It can look like a drill possibly with a base like the nanohive's, that continues to bore through the suit. Visually you will know when you or someone else has it on them since sparks will be flying of the areas its on.
Will be large enough so that it can be removed by melee if you can see it in your view or shot of by a teammate, can also be destroyed by flux grenade.

That would basically be me seeing that my mic is glitching 95% of the time, so I am silent.....people think I'm a dumb blueberry until I save their @$$ using basic gear....
