How about dropping one of extenders for something a little less power intensive.
The assault suit works just fine as a dual-tanker, stop trying to brick tank it.

Do you have a mk.0?
Yes, I run 2 shield extenders an energizer and damage mod in high, a plate, repper and kincat in low, paired with a Mass Driver, Flux grenades and a car-9 burst scrambler pistol. with RE as equipment.
Its light on its feet, quick on the regen and makes for a PERFECT flanker. Much prefer it over my Caldari Suit.

AMARR is supposed to brick tank
Gallente doesn't have the oomph without damage modifiers
Caldari is rather broke, prehaps giving amarr an armour stacking rebuke to make caldari too slow.

Pretty Sure I do, let me check, the mk.0 hasn't been out for a while Ive being using the mk.1 to keep costs down.

Yes Indeed my apologies, I had the two merged into a mega suit.
My minnie assault mk.0
I have one miltia extender, an energizer a damage mod and some more extenders, on the low I have a reactive plate and a kincat. My apologies on getting my suits mixed up.
But my stance still stands it works lovely for me.
P.S im not high, but I may have an extra beer or two with my meal tonight.

The power is going to tight, you shouldn't be able to go ALL complex, therefore your beef is not with the supposed uselessness of the minnie but the fitting power of the caldari and amarr.

Also, tryin to state that 1 races' assault suit should be forced to use one specific weapon to be viable is flawed.
I am explaining my use of miltia/std gear on a proto suit. I use a power intensive mass driver, I need to make scarifices.
