The Frontline [STARTER FIT].
Its an exact copy of the medic fit but without a needle. making it completely useless. why would anyone choose to use this over the medic fit? There is only 1 reason that i can think of. They are adding stuff to it and need that extra 20CPU and 4 PG from having an empty equipment slot.
So... rather then remove it, can you maybe just add something instead? like a nanohive? ok so that has more CPU and PG then the needle so it maybe wont fit with 0 skills, i dont know, id have to make a new toon to check. If thats the case, perhaps add in a militia version of the compact nanohive that is not available on market, only available on this starter fit.
ideas? likes? hell nos?

Or, heres an idea, make the current medic suit the frontline suit and redo the medic suit. Maybe swap the needle for a repair tool. or just change around the fitting so its not an exact clone. maybe since logi is "supposed" to be a support type suit add some scan precision modules in place of a single tanking mod. Then it can see other logi's on scan including med's and heavies. something along those lines. |

All stater suits need to be revised with all the new gear that got released, as I've said before. Give assaults their Rail Rifles, the Min their combat etc, and remove the sidearm of the medic for an extra equipment which would be a repper. |

What they need to do is make militia logi suit for each race.
Gal mlt logi: 0H/2L/2Eq/1L/1G
Cal mlt logi: reverse of the Gal
Amarr mlt logi: 1H/1L/2Eq/1Sa/1Lt/1G
Minmatar mlt logi: 1h/2L/2Eq/1Lt/1G
After that they need to add all the heavy race weapons/suits and make mlt variants of them all, and give each race a starter fit of that.
Then a starter fit of the scout.
These should be the four starter fits:
Frontline: assault mlt
Medic: logi mlt
Scout: scout mlt
Gaurdian (or whatever): heavy mlt
And all of these should come with mlt versions of their race specific weaponry. Any suits created beyond these should be treated as specialty roles and do not get mlt gear (like the commando or the pilot)
There you go, now every thing is fixed.

Nope. It's working as intended. Frontline (infantry) is setup perfectly for a basic infantry soldier. Rifle, sidearm pistol. Case closed. Medic has a rifle and SMG as its secondary, which makes sense for the medic guy.
So, it's working as intended. No need to examine it further

First of all, who exactly are you responding to? Nowhere did i say we need to reevaluate what weapons they are using.
And if things were indeed working as intended i dont think CPM Iron Wolf Saber would be asking for loadouts here.

I personally prefer the frontline over the medic, it (on most races) has a free damage mod which is more valuable than 20 extra shields or some useless other mod. Plus, militia needle is trash so i'm not missing out there.
So yeah, I'm pretty happy with the current frontline suits.

I just swap the scrambler pistol for a SMG BPO, and upgrade the shield and/or armor slots to get a bit more HP for a still-very-low cost.

This is something i recently found out.
The gallente has no hi slots so it doesnt get a damage mod. it is an exact copy of the medic fit. well sorry, it has a pistol instead of an SMG. after looking at a minmitar starter fit i see that frontline and medic have several different modules. So Gallente is particular is what im complaining about i guess. i havent had the chance to see the caldari and amarr starter fits. |
