Many of you have no idea of who am I...
So I might be not so popular or have many likes. I am just a player like you and if there is a chance to change it in better way I will be the first on doing that. This is the game I play for almost a year. I wanted something for a long time, tired of push-button-games. You say I am new? Well the time you need to comprehend is ability of each person... As I decided to stop on something potential, growing is sometimes hard and this game is such case.
I have been on through all hardcore games such as "Battletanks" and "Contra" or "Battletoads" when a kid to recent FPS shooters and adventure games. I must say there is no other game in last few years that had so many whining about the difficulty it makes for a player to enjoy then this one.
I started in Dust with my own corporation growing fast, then got into Russian alliance, the biggest Dust based Russian alliance yet having EVE background. I got into alliance life more dealing with its routine. It grew from mostly Russian to international, considering only corporations from Europe for the sake of latency. I do live in Western Europe though.
There are many issues that Russian and mostly Eastern Europe players express on that section but having no possibility to really affect somehow the state I wasn't pushing through there and just was watching lots of threads about problems sometimes full of whining and yelling and anger and whole lot more. I can troll and flush and whine, will it make the difference to achieve a goal? Guess not.
Since CPM is a bridge between player and developer, who transmits what is really necessary and adequate from all dirt that flows on the forums, I won't tell or promise anything. No need for lies and dreams. I'll just do it. And if I succeed on this then we will do the job.
P.S.: If you people have time I do write a bit about game on fiction section, it is called "Shred memories". Got 3 parts... yet. No big deal. There is really good stuff to read on that section and those guys do surprise me sometimes.

Killar-12 wrote:A few questions In what ways would you wish to see the Connection between capsuleers and infantry expanded?
How high on your list of priorities is having dust able to perform a constant framerate of say 20 FPS?
Would you wish for the return of Corporation Battles or rather the introduction of Team Deploy for Factional warfare?
I'm sure to come up with more questions, but these seem to be ones that many people have so I put them here
Economy, I want to see common market in Dust, and Bunnies able not just working with Dust equipment but be able to do same with EVE equipment in order to get some ISKs. Creation and management of corporation or alliance fully, from Dust side as in EVE, I want to seee all my "minuses" and all my "pluses". Tritanium burns in atmosphere so some hull protection for EVE ships being able to get on to the battlefield, small ships, freighters at most as the bigger the ship the harder it is to protect it. EVE pilots can be used as orbital scanners for battlefield or send probes or/and drones into atmosphere above district to be used like scans or signal interference or a gun. So there will be more job for DUST pilots. Orbital cannon for infantry is an old one too, it should be flexible like turret. We can't turn the planet to shoot directly so just a straight cannon is not an option. There is plenty to talk about and to tell but this all depends on PS3 system and developers themselves.
FPS? Well you know, with such gear you choose to have good quality or good frame rate. This is not a PC.
I would like to see automatic squad making for one battle. There is squad maker but guess you want to join just for one battle of each types and the guy that owns squad somehow bothers you. Well, you get on alone and look for squad in battle or join another. The thing is nobody cares in situations where effectiveness is needed and there are like 15 blueberries and one man in one squad. System could get first 5 of the list into that squad. And by the end it will give option to leave or disband or even not needed, you just leave squad when you want. Team Deploy is a solution for Factional but it will be more like PC. What if others want to play in too? Nope, you got no team? Maybe team finder could be an answer. In FW it would not have impact on OB but in Public who would waste OB? And here ranks can come in. Some hard earning ranks like you get "Minuteman" having 20 million SP or more levels of Factional relations that make you having ranks and the most skilled gets the role, but mane problems may appear too there. What to do when higher rank gets in team? Maybe he has higher rank but does not know how to command. Then he can't be a commander of a team. What to do? Vote? Not fair. I suppose there is still some more basic stuff we need. As for corp battles, they are past as you don't get any profit from it, except for isk and loot, just to see which corp is better, you want an infinite tournament for leader board?
If I didn't answer what you wanted, ask more.

What are some potential long term goals you would like to establish or see put forwards? Whether they're set in stone or not.
How do you feel about respecs?
Short term is basically is to fill up the blank spaces for players to see game itself in a big picture. Not just "shoot to thrill". Giving rights to players of Dust as EVE ones have. In the end all this is constrained only by company vision and technical level of improves and recourses it might take to perform such and if it is needed at the moment, basically the decision making process makes it harder to just tell what I want to do for it right now, I don't know whether some ideas are possible and yet I do preserve them in case it will be. Long term may change on needs of players, from fast leveling of fresh players to reducing SP cost. New weapons and game styles, specially PVD as some call it PVE, but for some long term processes we still need to improve short term ones. Yet, this may not happen right away, some goals will take more CPM rounds to be performed.
Respec should exist until game will have its base established, a well balanced base that won't suffer big changes, small are acceptable. I was thinking on getting respec as a choice when you get 10 lvl loyalty by some fraction, by so you could choose to change fraction to another one and get full respec in order to choose new style. However, ten levels are to easy for such thing.

Jaysyn Larrisen wrote:A few questions for you (same as I pose to all candidates):
1) Other than the forums how do you intend to collect and communicate requests, needs, POV of the community? In particular, those outside your corp / alliance.
2) What level of interaction would you like to establish between the CPM and CSM?
3) What are the top 3 short term (next 2mo's) changes you would encourage CCP to make?
4) What are the top 3 mid term (next 6mo's) changes you would encourage CCP to make?
5) In Spring of 2015, when CPM1's term is up, what would you want people to have said about your tenure as a CPM member?
6) Will you be creating a channel for folks to meet and sqd with you during the period before the election?
Thank you for your time.
1) In game channel to speak with players on schedule, e-mail, social sites if necessary.
2) Strange one, communication will ease process of filtering and seeing what is important, there might be a problem in which both sides suffer, knowing that will put it in top priorities for ease of integration between games, or problem where one side suffers from another and beyond.
3) Technical, PC experience improvement, social improvement(new players integration included).
4) Market expansion for Dust, SP cost reduction, alliance and corp improvement.
5) "I like hardcore gaming, hope you liked it too." - mainly because I stated that games nowadays lost their hardcore way, Dust might be a redemption yet, some may be confused between being hardcore and unable to play due to technical issues. Getting glitched and lose PC to some laggy corp is not hardcore, it is an issue, hardcore will be when you will stop your breath in last minutes of battle, but this mainly is for balance part.
6) Yep, channel is a go and a squad making too, but sincerely time is crucial in such. Not only before but after election too, if I will have time after election. That is better then sitting on forums, getting info instantly and being able to manage faster issues delivery.
There, I could tell more but I have a struggle, 9gag is calling me, I answered partially about some of questions to Naedeus. Later on I ll get an update with your questions in head topic.

How about the Squad Leader with the highest standing with the faction becomes the Field Commander, with an icon to let him and the team know who the Field Commander is. If two squad leads have the same standing, the one with the most Skill Points gets it. If someone is not a good leader, they will normally not be Squad Lead, so if we make being a Squad Lead one of the requirements we will be more likely to get Leaders assigned to the Field Commander role.
Indeed a good point.

Just to stress that prices on vehicles are way to far from those we have for suits.
Vehicle is a vehicle, it is supposed to be an expensive asset, considering that tankers get tons of kills of infantry that uses far more expensive suits. This will reduce number of "tankers" and increase number of those that will receive mental pleasure from destroying a million ISK tank. If so then, I will be more then pleased having tanks as they are now, considering that number of just-to-try players will ride cheap wreck and prototankers will use million isk tanks that will make need for a whole squad to destroy a prototanker and just a guy with 2 AV to destroy militia tanks.
CCP seems to forget that prices are also a balance tool.

The problem is that for corps like Nyain San which have been farming PC for months, they have so much money, that they have no reason to be cautious about wasting overpriced things.
There is a reduced number of corporations that have that opportunity, decreasing average is still effective, of course there are those that will continue spending on, but having expensive equipment being lost, they will think twice before pooling on public matches and FW their top gear, on PC it is less relevant.

The next is hypothetical:
Where blaster is good against infantry, rail gun is good against structures and rocket launcher against armored vehicles. Each has own weakness of course but we could add more deepness by specifying more impact each weapon has, we could also add more related to faction damage but still there some vehicles to be introduced.
Of course here static turrets might have same roles considering their characteristics and where they are positioned in map increasing their turning speed, reload, cooling and heating rates.
Why not making it possible for infantry to have some impact on vehicles with turrets, I mean by adding new skills called "super heavy" weapons to train in improving skill which will make possible for a mounted static turret to become a lethal arm against vehicles, creating some kind of a kit for improving turrets defense. Infantry to protect turret guy and infantry to kill it. In this case turrets could have same characteristics of damage as I proposed for tanks.

Adipem Nothi wrote:Greetings CPM Candidate! You and your peers are formally invited to attend what will no doubt become a provocative debate on the topic of Scouts! We very much look forward to your participation in said rumble, should you take interest and be so kind as to opine. We do hope you swing by and weigh in: Your Summons, Sir or Madamo7
We must have in attention the team play aspect, it is not solo scout battles, this means where some scouts of some race can't push what can other, other frames of their race can replenish that fault considering it is versatile teams.
Imagine next:
Gall example:
Scout role expansion: 25% Assault: 40% Heavy: 15% Vehicles: 20%
Now what you wish is to move scout role to higher or lower degrees which can't be made not managing other frames as well since lowering gall scout role expansion due to its possibility to take assault frame a bit, you reduce lets say a 100% to 97% of overall race competition (since you reduced scout force in total) against other races. It means other races will prevail in bits against Gall and you can't do that without balanced decision to cut here and to add there.
Of course some races have 105% or 110% as 96% as well due to lack of content as well in some, which creates lack of balance which this game has since ever. You have the rail rifle effect in here, mass drive effect and other related to racial damage taken and received by weapons.
Considering previously written I must say that we can't assume any changes watching at overall effect it will have on gaming experience just because someone is not satisfied. We can consider all these proposals and decide whether we apply some of changes or not so altogether races will have 100% competitiveness against each other but particularly some frames of one race could have advantage of frames or frame of another races.
By such we can have versatility of balance where globally races are balanced however particular small fights depend not only on frames but on skills and gaming experience of player and in this situation frames advantage can be handy. Now depending how many of each frame you brought to battlefield will have higher or lower output taking in consideration that not only frames but also racial differences can be applied in battles...
You got it. No changes just because someone is suffering. Remember it is not I want to play as scout and be best player, you have players of other races and frames that join battle and they replenish what you can't accomplish.
Probability of dropping same guys with weapons and equipments of same race is almost null, so you can't expect victory out of almost unpredictable matchmaking and considering that all proportionally drop in same frames. In this case PC is more controllable and predictable.
This is team game and it means no one-man-army and it means no suit will have advantage over whole race just because, otherwise people just make this game more unbalanced and then ask why it is unbalanced.
1. So what is must be done, all races are 100% competitive against other races but frames particularly are less against some and good against other.
2. In this 100% if you want to push or nerf something you need to move as well other related to frame parts in one particular race(sharing effect - if you receive some of your race will lose). We can make frames all with same effectiveness giving yet 100% in total which will solve problem with battles of one prevailing frame used.
3. Now having that balances we can make teams of most percentage output of effectiveness against all races.
