There is several version of heavy suits :
Sentinel : AV suit / Defense of last lines (HMG)
Commando : Pure DPS heavy Suit.
I think we really need an Heavy suit meant to be a real "Tanking suit".
Problem : Making a Heavy suit viable to be a real tanking suit means a REALLY HIGH hp amount and Weapon resistance.
But making that will make this suit well...OP.
And making a suit for "Tanking" means no primary weapon for them...
To resume making a real tanking suit is way too much complicated.
YES a proto heavy bear can tank the damage against 1 or 2 ADV soldier.
And kill them.
But thats not what "tanking" means.
A Tank unit is supposed to have a poor firepower BUT having a HUGE capability of taking bullets.
Able to take firepower from 5-6 units without dying during 5-10sec from front.
BUT unable to kill them all.
So here's a solution to make them able to be "that" TANK.
But without changing the actual suits (Years of balance etcetc...is not a good idea).
Actual heavy wanted to stay like that can.
And heavy who wants to be "that" tank can :
4 NEW HEAVY WEAPONS !!!!!!
Riot (Battle) Shield !
Before thinking than these shield have too much life or too good stats think than they actually can't shoot without swapping weapon to secondary and their role is to Tank damage.
These Shield have a Huge damage Bonus with Melee Hit. (Add damage to the Melee value of the Heavy suit.)
They Cover all the body exept feets and small part of legs. (And the Back)
The FPS view is like when we hack an objective. (The arm).
