I'm not one to complain, except about this. Went through a streak today of getting put into losing battles near the end of the match. I'm okay with that. What isn't okay is getting put in at the last second of a match, spawning into point that is being camped, get killed and then being rewarded with 0 ISK and 0 SP.
If the matchmaker is going to waste my time with that sort of thing the reward ought to be something more than 0. Throw me some salvage at least. |

I agree. Even joining half completed matches is a pain. After a certain point it needs to stop sending people in.

As much as it sucks to be put in there, half matches have to refill, or the team with more people will easily dominate, even if they were losing before. But CCP needs a cutoff threshold, at like 75-85% match completion (depending on game mode) where they no longer refill the match.

In some cases, half armor isn't a good metric. Like if one team gets to half armor, but then takes over all the points, and is now chewing through the enemy's MCC at a rapid rate, while theirs remains constant. In a Skirmish, 75% would be too short, because there are other outcomes the match can reach. It'd likely be closer to a quarter armor on either side where it would be no longer worth refilling the match. I'd go the same for Domination as well.
In terms of Ambush, however, you'd want at least 20-25 clones remaining in order to refill the match, as nothing is more annoying than jumping into a game where you can't spawn because there are no clones.
