I like the idea of dragging but only at the cost of me not being able to fire.
However, I have to say I would not be disappointed to not get it. I love the new ragdoll effects as they are actually helping me at my job. More often than not, they get killed and fly back into cover for me to save them ;) Or even when they die at the top of stairs. I love it. Their bodies float to me at the bottom of the stair way like a conveyor belt of needle stabbing.
Also, dying onto of high places. more often than not, I've had a dead body roll off the edge and down to me. I do enough rezzing in a game that personally don't see dragging that critical.

Artificer Ghost wrote:1) When dragging/carrying, if you press the fire button, you raise your weapon and start firing. However, this is VERY inaccurate (You only have one hand on the gun), and you halve your dragging speed (You only have one hand on the body). OR, you can switch to your sidearm, which is pretty much the same, but you have better accuracy in exchange for less damage (Potentially increasing your DPS).
2) Dragging, as a consequence, should speed up the time before the clone dies. If you were to shoot your friend, he'll die faster when you're dragging him than he will if you leave him still and cover the flow of blood. Don't increase the speed by too much. Maybe for every 1 second, it drops 1.5 seconds. Or for every 1 second, it drops 2 seconds. This will decrease the time someone spends dragging your body around without actually helping you because he's a d*ck, and bring a bit of risk/reward into the mechanic.
3) Speed is altered depending on what your melee damage count is. This will give more use to the statistic, and it makes sense (The melee damage module increases arm strength in general, not just melee strength). Therefore, a Commando will be incredibly amazing at dragging and lifting, and a Scout will be less great at it.
4) If your melee is over 150, you carry instead of drag. Doing this increases your speed, but decrease weapon accuracy again, making the weapon almost useless at any range longer than 10m.
Great ideas, ghost.

Really like this idea.
Unless they don't have a sidearm...

This sounds hilarious. I would pay to see this. Once. Then I'd also call abuse and say to stop it.

Really like this idea. Unless they don't have a sidearm... Then they don't shoot, unless our guns are made of alloys or ceramics it just wouldn't happen albeit wouldn't even be worth shooting due to accuracy. The guns we have here are clearly heavy and with the added technology couldn't only mean more weight, if I'm wrong and they are made of lightweight materials then I'd like to hear.
I'm actually all for not shooting while dragging. Or, if the hand to hand combat skill came into play. lvl 1, you need both arms to drag. lvl 3, can use one hand to drag but very inaccurate shooting. lvl 5, can use one hand to drag and better accuracy but still not as good as normal use.

I think most people *hopefully* know this and its only the people not paying attention or even those that didn't want to be rezzed and are looking at a different screen that don't move immediately. After clearing the room and stabbing them with my needle, I actively melee people who don't move in hopes they'll pay attention and do something.
Edit: the "hopefully knowing" might just be my wishful thinking

Usually before my screen turns from black to 'I'm alive!!!', I'm actively moving from where I was laying.
