I don't check the forums daily anymore, but... what happened to update 1.8? I have seen literally no indication of it's content or release date. Am I missing something? Also, what happened to the Dust IRC chat? Did it move?

Dev's need a holiday. Alot of overtime probably has been logged since May 14th. Everyone that makes something with their hands or art in general needs time for strictly themselfs and with family to regenerate the passion for what they do. Hopefully this will bring good things for 1.8 as it will have some time to manifest and a renewed vigor. |

chances are the devs are all still on vacation so we will be getting this late I mentioned this in another thread, but we won't be releasing 1.8 on the monthly cycle due to the developers being away on vacation. You can expect juicy info when there is some to be shared. :)

Chinese New Years is January 31 so probably nothing until end of February/March at many people tend to take 1-2 weeks off to visit family. |

Hey I don't blame you guys, just wish I could block people on that channel, takes a lot out of my desire to be there being constructive if it's just people relentlessly pressing my buttons for hours on end :/ Admittedly it's been a long time since I've been back there ::shrugs::
