0.o you've never tried playing a Minmatar assault have you? I feel my standard Gallente assault can beat more situations than my proto Minmatar assault after the shields nerf making shield recharge kind of a ***** to deal with when it's 80% of your tank and the rail rifles tear you apart, (though the passive 1hp armor / sec and near scout speed is nice.)
Then I pull out my SEVER suit and put them both to shame.

it has its perks. i run the proto for my AV. the pg/cpu applies to swarms so you can get proto swarm, 3 complex damage mods on it with an SMG and a half decent tank other than that its not brilliant

The Gallente Racial Bonus is awesome but the overall assault suit bonus pisses on the Gallente Assault.
It's not a bad assault at all, none of them are, not even the minmatar assault. It's just the one with a pretty irrelevant shield bonus that all suits benefit from except Gallente (inb4 Duel tanking, gtfo out with that blasphemy).
If you took this thread seriously you probably need to step away from the forums for a bit
