We have high damage immunity suits in the game already.
They're called HAVs.
Except they're cheaper and require less SP. |

They're just unnecessary.
The pendulum has swung most of the way to the opposite direction, toward vehicles.
This suit would, by itself, be ridiculously OP, but I appreciate the message that this post gives, despite the fact that I disagree with the idea presented.
Vehicles are OP, in several ways. Infantry are likewise UP, in several ways. The devs would do very, very well to adjust this state of affairs back in favor of infantry at least somewhat, starting soon. |

Would it ignore massive damage from snipers and ScR too?
Or would it just ignore vehicles because magic?

Instead of a regular commando being able to switch between two light weapons. It would be a heavy commando able to switch between two heavy weapons,provided they specialise in AV. (no HMG,but FG compatible) 0 slots basic level(besides nanos), 1 high slot adv, 1 low and 1 high slot proto. Would have enough pg/cpu at proto level to easily carry all proto eq/modules/weapons. The suit could even be AMARR based as it would be a walking coffin against infantry,testing the users faith in their allies. |

It's nice to know you can't read. 1.All weapons but turrets would do 150% more damage (300% for headshots). 2.it can still be ran over,but it would use a kinetic neutralizer and if bullets of a certain mass hit the suit it would stop them cold. But,as a cost the suit would be weaker to any bullets that were not equal to or greater than the mass threshold. And as a suit dedicated to AV it would be installed with the most high tech protocols to push those weapons to their limits. But it would have 0 protocols for any other type of weapon rendering it useless with anything but AV classified weaponry. |

If it can stop high mass objects from penetrating the shield than why can't it stop small ones? The damage from turrets in this game is only marginally larger than some light weapons. Heck the forge gun does more damage per shot than a blaster turret. These smaller projectiles would, in effect, have a very similar kinetic profile to a larger caliber weapons (higher speed munitions?) making your background concept seem...stupid. Remember F=MA and all that.
This is a really bad idea. It would not increase either fun or immersion (something I think of as adding to the fun of a game) and could really be off putting for lots of people.
Fun > Realism
